The Moose Is Back In Town - Paramount Skydance and Sesame Workshop To Relaunch Noggin SVOD As Independent Company In Fall 2025, Beta Testing August 26th

 We know what you did last summer. Last year in July 2024, Nickelodeon said goodbye to the Noggin SVOD streaming service for the last time after a decade of operations, but now it seems that Nickelodeon, the first kids network has pulled the ultimate UNO reverse card sike lying to their audience with the channel faking their death just to get more subscriptions sales in.

Nickelodeon and Paramount yesterday have announced the official return of Noggin, the educational preschool television network and Nick Jr. sister channel ofspring of Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop which currently reaches over four million subscribers worldwide in 75 countries, including the likes of two million lifetime children. The new rebranded Noggin channel is set to launch across TV, computers and streaming video on demand apps this fall, with a beta test launch slated for Tuesday, August 26th to make sure the channel's return is working properly.

Kristen Kane, who has been CEO of the Noggin channel since they rebranded in June 2019 has unveiled new plans for the future of the channel, which includes various new series, some weird marketing deals and television show acquistions and new live experiences events for the brand.

The relaunch of Noggin, which was first leaked in October 2024 three months after the app shut down and has been in production at Nickelodeon and its newly merged parent company Paramount Skydance Corporation since February this year, is set to relaunch into three phases. The first phase will be to relaunch Nogginville, Noggin's Minecraft/Roblox hybrid-esque virtual gaming world that allows children to learn about community helping and roleplaying skills. Only four places were available in the game when it launched on Noggin back in the Christmas season of December 2023, the treehouse HQ, supermarket, Broadway theater and swimming pool recc center. Kane hopes to expand the town of Nogginville with more new places and mini-games as the rebrand takes effect.

The second phase is to expand the Nogin SVOD app beyong its typical preschool curriculum of letters, numbers, shapes, colors, music and other preschool skills by focusing on an older kids demographic, the first time the channel has done so in 23 years when they got rid of the programs for older kids on April Fools 2002 when the defunct TV channel rebranded to the Feetface and Moose & Zee eras. With the relaunched Noggin, Kane hopes to make some new acquistion deals with other digital-first SVODs like Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV+ and Amazon.com Prime Video and international streamers like ITVx Kids, ABC Kids iView and CBeebies on BBC iPlayer to allow more diverse educational programs that young children and hardcore fans of all ages can enjoy together.

Finally, the third phase is to expand Noggin intolive experiences including Broadway musicals, live concerts, ice skating spectaculars, recreational classes, expos, conventions and other types of live events, which hasn't been done since the cformer TV channel's SiriusXM collab children's music festival Jamarama Live! Kidsfest in the mid-2000s. With this new approach, Kane and her team hope to expand the iconic second-rate Nickelodeon preschool channel franchise into more experiences for new generations of kids and parents to enjoy together.

The new Noggin rebrand will still feature the best of Nickelodeon's catalog and a few originals that teach children elementary school skills. But this time, the channel will be aging and evolving. The new rebranded Noggin will be aimed at tots age 3-9 and kids 5-12 years old with a whole slew of new and existing children's programming that will also strengthen big kid school skills including advanced language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and music, health, SEL, robotics, engineering and technology, the main core subjects of children's school academics.

It's currently unknown whether or not Moose & Zee voiced by Paul Christie or the Noggins At Work will be kept or coming back as the channel's mascot hosts when the rebrand's first airwaves take effect on the Tuesday beta testing/soft launch takes effect. The teaser image on the Kidscreen article features a still of the new interface that features a new face in Moose's log cabin named Snackish, a energetic and curious young sack lunch tote bag who will guide kids on these new adventures.

GET BACK TO WORK!!!! - Netflix To FINALLY Release Their Five Dr. Seuss Movies & TV Shows Projects Beginning September 2025

It's the legendary author's work that will have you reading in a box, with a fox, in a house, with a mouse, here there and everywhere.  For over 12 decades, the world of Dr. Seuss Geisel has been captivated by millions of kids and hardcore readers alike. Now after three years of lazy idiots, Netflix SVOD is FINALLY bringing the incredible and iconic whimsical world of Seussville back to life.

In March 2022, around the release of the second and final season of the hit Netflix series based on the 1960s Dr. Seuss classic Green Eggs and Ham, Netflix ordered five more TV shows and movies based on other Dr. Seuss books, but have never seen the light of day until now. Premiering this fall, Netflix will debut the first three of these efforts, with the remaining two due for release next year.

The Seussville celebration kicks off on Monday, September 8th with two new series and a new hour-long movie special, beginning with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish (Season 1, 5 episodes) which follows the adventures of the characters from the classic Beginner Books entry in their exotic aquarium filled with crazy creatures like a guy with 11 fingers and a camel with seven humps.

Then for the Halloween season on October 6th, it's the TV show adaptation of one of Seuss's most meaningful and inspiring works, Horton Hears A Who! (Season 1, 7 episodes) which follows the adventures of a young elephant named Horton, a wise young creature who helps the animals in the magical Seuss land of the Jungle of Nool

And finally on November 3rd, it's the animated movie of The Sneetches, a cautionary tale about a community of star-bellied and plain-bellied creatures who learn the hard way of how no type of speecies is truly the best and how each of us are special and what makes us all human beings. This is the second time that The Sneetches has been adapted following the 1973 CBS TV special classic Dr. Seuss on the Loose.

Additionally, Netflix has picked up a TV series adaptation of Wacky Wednesday based on the book released under the Theo LeSieg banner (which is Dr. Seuss's last name spelled backwards) and a second hour-long movie based on Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose set for release on the streamer in 2026.

Nick Jr. Celebrates 25 Years of Dora the Explorer With New Album "Dora 2024: Music Leads The Way"

America's favorite Latino heroine is at it again as the swinging 25th anniversary celebration of Nick Jr's iconic classic series Dora the Explorer continues with the launch of the new Dora album Dora the Explorer: Music Leads the Way. This new 12-track half-hour album is the first of its kind for the hit Paramount+ reboot series as we follow Dora and Boots on a special play-along adventure filled with incredible music, wacky surprises and lots of Hispanic fun.

This new album contains a collection of some of the background music and other instrumental pieces from the show's extensive BGM catalog, complete with newly recorded narration from Nickelodeon's award-winning characters. This is the second album to do so for the iconic franchise following the 2008 album Dora the Explorer: Party Favorites which includes a remix version of the show's original intro and Travel Song and rock and roll versions of classic nursery rhymes.

The Wiggles Go EDM Dubstep Again With New Album "The Tree of Wisdom: Bush Doof" To Release October 3rd

The world's #1 preschool band The Wiggles are at it again with another album of electronic dance music (EDM) that will take them to the Skrillex level of dubstep. Earlier this year, the band's founder Anthony Field, 62 announced the production of the band's next album, their second EDM project The Tree of Wisdom: Bush Doof which is set for release on CD, vinyl and digital music streaming platforms on Friday October 3rd to coincide with a 2026 concert tour of the same name.

The new album features a total of 25 tracks, most of which are new songs with the craziest EDM backing tracks to get young kids out of their seats and shaking their butts across the living room, while as customary to all their recent releases since 2013, also includes new versions of some of their older tracks.

Nick Jr. and Republic Records Begin To Release "PAW Patrol: Skye's Music Party" Soundtrack Album on CD and Digital Download

Earlier this summer on June 20th at the beginning of the summer season, Nick Jr. and Universal Studios-owned Republic Records Kids & Family division have started to release the complete first season soundtrack of the PAW Patrol YouTube account miniseries PAW Patrol: Skye's Music Party. The hit music video collection released in the summer of 2024 is now available to listen to on CD, vinyl and all premium and free music platforms including iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.

The full album and series of music videos (28 songs total) runs for approx. 45 minutes long with the next installments being released weekly and monthly. Unfortunately for digital music streamers, they'll have to wait a little big longer for the whole schbang to be released as Nickelodeon and UMG have decided to release each of the 28 songs separately as single mp3s with the full soundtrack album set to be completed around the Christmas holidays in December 2025.

Viewers Like You, Thank You - PBS Kids and NPR Radio's Signature Federal Funding Partner, Corporation for Public Broadcasting To Shutter Down In January 2026 Due To Trump Administration Funding Cuts Concerns

 Since 1968, PBS has provided some of the greatest children's programming of all time and has joined the ranks of The Walt Disney Company, Paramount, Warner Bros. and Discovery Channel as the big five for the best high quality in educational and preschool children's programming for nearly six decades. But unfortunately, the recent events across public broadcasting and political terms have led to the PBS Kids channel and Public Broadcasting Service facing a new crisis in its catalog of children's classics.

Due to circumstances of a recent Congress bill that is nothing under our control, one of the most important companies in PBS Kids' funding history, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting: A private corporation funded by the American people CPB.org will be fgoing out of business, with the company officially going bankrupt at the end of September and the headquarters officially shutting down at the end of January 2026, with its final CPB funding being headed towards local music discography productions.

The shutdown of the CPB will cost PBS and NPR approx $1.1 billion dollars as the PBS network continues to get punished by President Donald J. Trump in his second term as president of the USA for making a racist offensive Sesame Street parody episode about him back in 2005, without his approval and without NBC's permission, which was the exact same reason for the Trump administration's first attempt to teach PBS a lesson and temperarilly cut PBS funding back in 2017 when Trump first took office from 2017-2021, but alas his first funding cuts attempts backfired and he failed miserably.

The recent PBS funding cuts from the Trump administration for the second time in Trump's 12-year rein as president of the USA which will last until the 2028-2029 election season has unfortunately also caused a fate to two of PBS Kids' most iconic program, with the recent cancellation of Molly of Denali after four seasons and their newest masterpiece Skillsville being another casualty of the one-hit-wonder TV tradition where the show only gets a single season of episodes and never gets renewed again. PBS Kids' upcoming science series Weather Hunters from legendary NBC weatherman Al Roker has also been affected, with the series originally planned to reach television sets on July 7th now being delayed to launch later this year in the autumn window of September 8th, 2025.

Despite the CPB shutting down for good after almost six decades in business with the funding being saved by the late Mister Fred Rogers himself back in 1968/1969 when the very firstPBS Kids preschool TV show, Mister Fred Rogers' Neighborhood was first being transmissioned, PBS Kids' other funders will still be around for many generations to come. The Ready to Learn Grant, No Child Left Behind, The United Statets Department of Education, The National Science Foundation andThe Arthur Vining Davis Foundations will still continue to provide PBS Kids funding and will be remained unchanged.

So rest in peace, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Thank you to everyone who made the corporation possible by providing the best funding budgets and the best high quality children's programming that we've ever had over the last 60 years. You will be dearly missed.

Disney Junior Unveils 2025-2028 Content Slate At Disneyland Resort 70th Platinum Jubilee

 The summer is almost over which means it's that time of year again for the fourth annual Disney Junior Fan Fest: Let's Play! Party convention at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The convention had an extensive showcase unveiling of new content for the cable and streaming network for the next three years which was extended after the showcase was accidentally skipped last year due to the 15th anniversary of Disney's other iconic convention, the D23 in 2024.

First up is the greenlight of two new series, beginning with the recent announcement of Disney's latest Marvel preschool show ripoff, MARVEL's Avengers and their Mightiest Friends (Season 1, 30 episodes) which completes the trilogy of Disney Jr's award-winning MARVEL preschool shows. The new series slated to premiere in August 2027 follows the adventures of Robert Downey Jr's 2012 MCU masterpiece which crosses over the greatest MCU superheroes of all time. The new series greenlight comes in ahead of the launch of the second show MARVEL's Iron Man and his AWESOME Friends (Season 1, 40 episodes) which releases on Monday and to celebrate, Disney Junior is making some new crossover specials between Spidey and Iron Man. The first of two crossover specials, dubbed under the title of MARVEL's Spidey & Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! is due for release on Thursday, October 16th with the second special due for release next year and streaming next day on Disney+ SVOD.

They say there's a first time for everything and that's the case for the second new series ordered for the channel. For the first time ever, Disney's CGI powerhouse, John Lasseter's Pixar Animation Studios is coming to Disney Junioer! With the pickup of Disney Jr.-Pixar's Cars: Lightning Racers (Season 1, approx 26 episodes) set for release in June 2027. The new series will once again follow the adventures of Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy reprising their roles as Lightning McQueen and Mater respectively as they go on new adventures in their loveable hometown of Radiator Springs. This is the third Cars TV show made for the network following the 2008 classic Mater's Tall Tales and the 2022 Disney+ fail flop Cars on the Road. Hopefully this third attempt will be more professional.

Additionally, Disney Junior has announced some voice cast updates for their previously announced arrivals for next year, reboot series Sofia the First: Sofia's Royal Magic and original series Hey A.J.!, the latter of which was originally greenlit at the last showcase panel during the first year of the convention back in April 2022 but hs yet to premiere on the channel and will not be released until next year. The upcoming Sofia the First reboot/sequel series reunites the original voice cast including Wayne Brady (CBS' Let's Make A Deal, ABC/BET's Whose Line is it Anyway?, ABC's Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve 2001-2002, Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade 2001-2003) as Clover the Blue Ribbon Bunny and Tim Gunn as Baileywick alongside a majority of classic '90s and 2000s voice actors from across the Disney Princess universe, while Hey A.J.! based on an existing children's books series features legendary female artist Meghan Trainor as a recurring role.

But of course it can't be a Disney channel without the corporate mascots themselves, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Pete, Clarabelle Cow, Cuckoo Loca, Professor Ludwig Von Drake, Max Goof, Uncle Scrooge McDuck and Willie the Giant. Disney Junior recently brought back the 2006 Playhouse Disney classic Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for a whole new generation this summer under the updated title of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ 2.0 and the premiere was so successful that the channel wanted more and more is what they're getting. The new reboot series produced in association with Mikros Images Animation (Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol movies), the new reboot series gets a two-season renewal for the network with a second and third season currently in production even though the reboot show has only existed for a little under three weeks. Season 2 (28 episodes) will premiere in 2027 and Season 3 (33 episodes) will launch in 2028 as part of the 100th anniversary centennial of Disney's core cast of characters.

And finally, Disney Junior has announced the release dates of this autumn's hot new preschool releases. The upcoming sitcom ripoff of Vampirina the Teenage Vampire is slated to launch on Friday, September 12th at 9:00pm ET/8:00c following the season two premiere of the hit Disney Channel reboot series Wizards BEYOND Waverly Place, the third and final season of Firebuds is slated on the standalone Disney Junior channel for Monday, September 15th, SuperKitties returns for its third chapter when Season 3 premieres on Monday, September 22nd and Mickey's clubhouse goes stop-motion with the launch of the new stop-motion interstitial series Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Songs, produced once again by Stupid Buddy Studios which kicks off with a Halloween collection on Monday, September 29th.

Additional upcoming releases include new series Magicampers and MMCH+ spinoff Duffy the Disney Bear and Friends due for release on Monday, October 6th and Monday, November 10th respectively according to Disney Wiki and the upcoming third season of SDtar Wars: Young Jedi Adventures which unfortunately doesn't have a release date yet but judging by the type of episodes the Star Wars preschool series is based on, it will probably debut around late September-early October.
