Nickelodeon Sets Up PAW Patrol Slate for 2025-2026 TV Season

With the release of PAW Patrol III just less than 18 months away, Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master have come up with some all-new television entertainment and massive multimedia marketing to continue the never ending saga of America's favorite pack of stupid community service talking rescue dogs that continue to reign supreme on kids TV worldwide.

First off, Nick Jr. has renewed its biggest of the lot, PAW Patrol for two more seasons with a 152-episode and two seasons pickup for Seasons 12 and 13 (26 episodes each) set for release across Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in September 2025 and September 2026 respectively. PAW Patrol's half-hour spinoff show, the Bob the Builder knockoff Rubble & Crew has also gotten picked up for Season 3 of 26 episodes which is set to release later in the year by at least October 2025.

Next, Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye and the rest of the pups have gotten some new story arcs planned as they take to the skies with Air Rescue centered on Skye, putting out the flames in Fire Rescue which follows the tragic backstory of why Marshall is stupidly blind as a firefighter dog and always crashing into things for no reason, and Chase and Rubble going through the lost and found basket in Search & Rescue which these three new arcs seeing the pups build a new airport, fire station and search and rescue center. These new arcs will premiere in February 2025, September 2025 and April 2026 respectively and like all the other story arcs will be intergrated into the merchandise and toy lines.

But that's not all! Rocky, Everest and Tracker are also set to get spinoff movies of their own, following on the heels of the successful SpongeBob SquarePants character driven films Sandy Cheeks Saving Bikini Bottom and The Plankton Movie due to release on Netflix in March. Everest will be giving us the ultimate Scrooge clickbait in A PAW Patrol Christmas Carol set for release in November/December 2025 as part of Nickelodeon's annual "NICKmas" and "Warm & Fuzzy Holiday Party" Xmas programming tentpole stunts, while Spanish pup Tracker will be going through the deepest darkest jungles ripping off a Disney and DreamWorks film in Valient: A Tracker Backstory which should be available for launch airing this film around September 2025 for Hispanic Heritage Month. The title of the Rocky recycling spin-off film hasn't been unveiled yet, but will probably release sometime in April 2026.

Then it all leads up to the big one as the 13th year of PAW Patrol capitalism concludes with the release of the highly-anticipated PAW Patrol III, set for release across the US and Canada in movie theaters and broadcasting on Nickelodeon and Pramount+ on July 31st, 2026. It's currently unknown what the plot is and whether or not Marshall will be the focused character in this third film getting a backstory subplot but we do know that the new voice of Skye, McKenna Grace and Liberty the roast goddess Marsai Martin and the unneccessary Kim Kardashian are all set to be back in the booth present and accounted for.

The new string of PAW Patrol episodes and films is part of Nickelodeon and Paramount+'s ever-growing lineup of franchises and nostalgia properties where original ideas doesn't exist anymore. Among the new Nick Jr. titles planned is the upcoming graphic novel anime Super Duper Bunny League from the creators of Bubble Guppies set for release in April this Easter, HexVet and the Magic Pets set for release in early 2026, a second Dora the Explorer live-action ripoff film and the final ever episodes of Baby Shark's Big Show! and Blue's Clues & You!, along with new episodes of Dora the Explorer 2024, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Peppa Pig, The Backyardigans: Cocomelon AI Edition, Yo Gabba Gabbaland! and Wonder Pets! in the City and Nick Jr's first ever YouTube exclusive series Barnyard Daycare and the recently launched Kid Cowboys which both premiered earlier this month.

Statler & Waldorf Are Free - Disney World To Shut Down The Muppets Attractions and Rebrand Aerosmith Rollercoaster on June 7, 2025

All good things must come to an end and unfortunately one of Disney's biggest 2000s properties The Muppets is about to follow similar fate. In one of the most disasterous announcements made by the mouse house for the 70th platinum anniversary of the iconic Jim Henson Company staple, Disney announced last Christmas that they would be shutting down its iconic Muppets Courtyard area of Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL, meaning that the hit 3D/4D VR show MuppetVision 3D and the pizza restaurant PizzeRizzo which were the final projects made by Jim Henson himself released posthumously after his death in May 1990 after the Disney World TV special, will be no more.

Disney has announced that effective Saturday Jne 7th, 2025, these classic attractions will be locked up in the Disney Vault never to be seen again (wuth the exception of watching it on YouTube) and will be replaced by a new Hollywood Studios land area dedicated to one of its greatest Pixar franchises of all time, Disney/Pixar's 2001 meme masterpiece Monsters Inc. which will be getting its own Disney World land over the summer as part of the Disneyland 70 celebration.

But don't worry, just because these iconic attractions are gone, that doesn't mean that Disney is done with The Muppets and Sesame Street forever, as they have announced that one of their worst illegal attractions ever made, Rock N' Roll Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith will be given the proper high quality rebrand it deserves, updating it to be centered around Dr. Teeth, Animal and the Electric Mayhem with the soundtrack being based on one of the worst one-hit-wonder kids shows ever made, the 2023 Disney+ SVOD box office flop The Muppets Mayhem which is essentially a Glee ripoff that deserved to be cancelled after only one season despite winning the 2023 2nd annual Kids Emmy Awards.

It's currently unknown where the famous Disney Muppets attractions from the 1990s will be available to experience again in the near forseeable future, as Disney and The Jim Henson Company themselves have acknowledged the frustation of Muppetheads everywhere and have rest assured that these attractions that have been around for about 35 years will still be available even though it will be hard and complicated to find a new theme park or carnival home for these iconic Disney theme park properties.

We would like to send a big thanks to all the Disney, Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Co. team who have brought these iconic adventures of Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Rizzo, Animal, Statler and Waldorf, Beaker, The Swedish Chef and the whole Muppets gang to life over the last seven decades. Thank you for giving us these iconic experiences that will be missed for generations to come.

FEED THE WORLD - Live Aid 2025 To Rock The USA on January 30th to Raise Money for People Affected by Hollywood Wildfires

On Saturday July 13th, 1985 from 12pm-4am, music history was made when the legendary QUEEN stole the show at the famous 1985 charity concert LIVE AID, a 16-hour BBC1 teecast that featured live music from across the UK's Wembley Stadium and the John F. Kennedy Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA that was designed to raise money for those people affected by the African famine hunger crisis.

The biggest charity singles of the year of course were "Do They Know It's Christmastime?" and "We Are The World" performed by the famous one-off chairty groups Band Aid and USA for Africa. Other famous faces joining the special music celebration included the likes of Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Beach Boys, U2, Phil Collins, Guns N' Roses, Willie Nelson, Elvis Costello and the surviving two Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and the original Thomas & Friends narrator Ringo Starr.

Now almost four decadees later, Paramount and BBC are doing it again, this time to raise charity funds for those people who were affected by this year's biggest natural disaster crisis, the flaming wildfire hazzards in the showbiz captital of the world, Hollywood Los Angeles, CA.

The 40th annual Live Aid concert, this year dubbed FIRE AID will take place in the heart of LA on Thursday, January 30th for yet another 16 hours of live music, fun and fundraising. The live charity extravaganza will be broadcasted across linear TV networks, streaming services, digital music sites and local SiriusXM satelite radio stations from sea to shining seas.

Among the famous faces of today's biggest music stars and living legends set to perform in this once in a lifetime live concert and charity musical spectacular will include the likes of Alanis Morissette, Anderson Paak, Billie Eilish, The Black Crowes, Dave Matthews Band, Dawes, Earth Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Graham Nash, Jelly Roll, John Fogerty, John Mitchell, Katy Perry,Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, No Doubt, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, PINK, QUEEN + Marc Martel and Adam Lambert, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rod Stewart, Stephen Stiles, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Sting and Tate Moore among others.

Nick Jr. Goes West With Two New YouTube Kids Originals "Barnyard Daycare" and "Kid Cowboy" in January 2025

IT'S TIIIIIIIIIIME for a Hillbilly Moment! Hey hey!  Knock knock! Who's there? Shark. Shark who? I'm gonna hit you in the head with a Baby Shark!

Nick Jr. is ringing in the new year of 2025 in style with the launch of two new Western preschool series that is set to ride the open range on the network's official YouTube channels. This week, Nick Jr. launched its new original miniseries Barnyard Daycare and Kid Cowboy on January 22nd and 24th respectively.

First in Barnyard Daycare (Season 1, 15 episodes), we follow the adventures of two farmers

Then in the Spanish Western Kid Cowboy (Season 1, 24 episodes), we go across the border to witness the adventures of the Spanish cowboys of Central and South America.

For some weird reason, Nick Jr. decided to air these series on their Blaze and the Monster Machines and Blue's Clues & You! YouTube accounts, even though these two Nicktoons for preschoolers on YouTube have nothing to do with Blaze, AJ, Darrington, Zeg, Starla, Stripes, Crusher and Pickle or Steve, Donovan, Joshua and Blue at all whatsoever.

These two new Western preschool series are among the country offerings for children's multimedia in 2025, which all leads up to the release of The Wiggles' western country escapades with the launch of their new album and video Wiggle Up, Giddy Up! set for release on Friday, March 7th.

Raitings Flop For No Reason - PBS Kids and NBC To Shut Down PBS Kids Sprout and Universal Kids Cable Networks On March 6, 2025

It's another unfortunate blow for fans of cable television and physical media on DVD and VHS, as after 20 years on the air, PBS Kids and NBCUniversal have announced the unfortunate demise of its hit preschool and kids channels, PBS Kids Sprout and its successor for the elementary school older kids, Universal Kids which will be shutting down on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 at 6am

The first channel PBS Kids Sprout first launched on Monday September 26th, 2005 as a contract of NBC's joint-venture collaboration with PBS, Mattel's Hit Entertainment, Apax Partners and Sesame Workshop. The channel was noted to be the first USA 24/7 preschool network, even though these pre-K channels have existed years before, with the launch of the Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney international channels in September 1998. Among its lineup over its 12-year adventures included a slew of hit preschool series both from the PBS Kids catalog roster, Sprout originals and the best HIT programs from around the world.

Among the iconic series from PBS Kids Sprout included the main seven programming blocks, The Sunny Side Up Show, The Sprout Sharing Show and The Goodnight Show that aired every day, Musical Mornings with Coo, The Wiggles: Sprout's Wiggly Waffle and LazyTown: The Super Sproutlet Show that aired on weekday mornings and afternoons from Monday to Friday and The Let's Go Show which aired on the weekends on Saturdays and Sundays.

The PBS Kids Sprout launch lineup included former PBS Kids mainstays Angelina Ballerina, Barney & Friends, The Berenstain Bears, Bob the Builder, Caillou which has continuously been described as the worst preschool kids show ever created, Dragon Tales, George Shrinks, Jakers! The Advnetures of Piggley Winks, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Make Way for Noddy, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, Sesame Street, Thomas& Friends and Zoboomafoo, UK acquistions Teletubbies and Boohbah, Nickelodeon acquistion Kipper the Dog and the USA cable television debuts of Big Sister, Little Brother, James the Cat and Pingu.

The original in-vision continuity lineup of hosts and presenters consisted of Kelly Vrooman, Sean Roach, Michelle Lepe, Noel MacNeal, Kevin Yasmine and Dennisha Pratt and their p and their puppet sidekicks named Star, Patty, Ricky, Curtis E. Owl and their corporate mascot, a kazoo chicken named Chica voiced by Forest Harding which later gave TSSUS their own half-hour series The Chica Show in November 2012.

The second network Universal Kids was launched on Saturday September 9th, 2017 as a majority of the PBS Kids Sprout catalog was owned and acquired by solely NBCUniversal only by 2013 hence NBC stealing the Sprout programming for their final kids programming block on Saturday mornings, the fittingly named NBC Kids that ran every Saturday from 2012-2016 and NBC has since then been affected by the stupid teen-oriented programming saturday morning idiots at Litton Entertainment.

Since 2017, Universal Kids' lineup continues to expand on the Sprout family, with new programs like a kids edition ripoff of hit NBC franchises Top Chef and American Ninja Warrior, the USA debut of the international kids edition of The Voice, the PBS Kids Sprout reboot of the classic game show Beat the Clock and the linear debut of hit Netflix series such as Madagascar: All Hail King Julien, Shrek: The Adventures of Puss in Boots, The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show and preschool series Dinotrux.

It's currently unknown which channel will replace Universal Kids after the March 6th closure date on whether it will be a new preschool/kids network or it will be an adults-only network in the similar fate that happened to the shutdown of NBC and iON Television's kids channel Qubo in February 2021.

A huge thanks to Andrew Beecham and the entire PBS, Comcast and NBCUniversal teams who have worked together tirelessly to make these channels possible over the last two decades. Without your support, these iconic channels would not continute to exist to this very day.

EVERYTHING MUST GO! - Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO Max To Illegally Remove Almost EVERY Cartoon Network Series by 2026/27 As SVOD Channel Shifts to More Adult Focused Content

It's the mother of all closing down sales as Warner Bros. Discovery continues to illegally remove programs and movies from its own HBO Max streaming service that they own their own copyrights to, as WBD and David Zaslav continues their five years reign as the stupidest children's television company on the planet since August 2022. In less than two years time, almost ALL of WBD's Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Cartoonito, HBO, HBO Family and Boomerang lineup will be no more on the service.

Among the titles flocking the coop include almost every Scooby Doo series, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, The Tom & Jerry Show, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, Batman: The Animated Series and preschool favorites such as the recently launched Sesame Workshop series Bea's Block, Baby Looney Tunes, Blippi Wonders, Lollabee City Farm, Sesame Street: Mecha Builders and the HBO Family Jam classic fairytales adaptations Happilly Ever After: Fairytales for Every Child.

Paramount's hit Comedy Central animated foul-mouth sitcom South Park has also left the streamer as Paramount had successfully gotten Zaslav fired and sued the comp[any for lying to them about their episode counts when the streamer was originally offered a deal to produce three seasons of ten episodes each, but the outcome ended with only two episodes in Season 22 and Seasons 23 and 24 both having six episodes each, bringing the order to a mear 14 episodes, half the promised amount.

The only upside positive news however is that it will be purging the first seven seasons of Teen Titans Go!, the 2013 reboot of the 2003-2006 iconic DC Comics series which many YouTubers have declaired the worst CN show ever existed.

The new illegal content purge of HBO Max means that more CN and WBD titles will be sent into public domain and pirated free video websites for no reason, although for the troubled WBD streamer now in its fifth anniversary to accidentally remove this much just seems confusing.

By 2027, the only good kids titles that will be available on HBO Max is the 2015-2025 contract deal of Sesame Street which ends after the 55th season on 9/11, the Mo Willems shorts from the Scholastic Video Collection series produced by Weston Woods Studios, the upcoming Mo Willems' Unlimited Squirrels! and Cat the Cat's Show with YOU! TV show adaptations, Dtylan's Playground Adventures, the preschool-focused MSB reboot The Magic School Bus: Mighty Explorers and the recently successful Mattel, Hit Entertainment and Nelvana reboot series Barney & Friends: Barney's World which is currently in its first five episodes with the next five slated to release weekly on Cartoonito linear from January 17th.

As of right now, it's currently unknown whether these WBD, CN and HBO Max titles will be available to watch on once they end their current streaming deal on WBD's own channel, though most people have speculate that Zaslav's company will be bought by Disney since they recently accidentally stolen some of the Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. catalogs in their recent merger with Hulu with the launch of the new Hulu on Disney+ section on Disney+ SVOD that launched in March 2024.
