Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park in Florida To Launch Renovated "Walt Disney Studios" Animation Courtyard Land On May 26th

The Walt Disney Company is due to lrelaunch its Animation Courtyard area of the 1989 Disney's Hollywood Studios resort as The Walt Disney Studios Lot, the renovated area of the Walt Disney World Resort theme park in Orlando, Florida is set to launch on May 26, 2026.

The renovated area will see the East Coast debut of last year['s successful Disneyland stage show concert attraction Disney Junior's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live, as well as an all-new Muppets ripoff of Rock and Rollercoaster starringg Aerosmith and the welcome return of The Magic of Disney Animation in its first reincarnation to the parks in over 11 years.

A new modified Disney Junior theme park experience in Florida is also due to roll out, featuring a new incarnation of the Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior's Play and Dine character dining at the Hollywood and Vine Restaurant and new character meet and greet interactions with Disney Junior's newer modern hit series Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends, SuperKitties and Disney Jr.'s Ariel: The Little Mermaid. However these new additions might have seen to come in a bit too late as Disney had previously continued offering meet and greet sessions with Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, The Lion King Guard, Vampirina and Fancy Nancy despite the fact those three series had already been killed off the air as late as 2022 and Sofia the First is slated to be revived back from the dead with the upcoming reboot series Sofia the First: Royal Magic due for Memorial Day release on May 25th.
