Caillou Needs to SHUT UP!!!! - Legendary YouTube Duo SMOSH Going On Hiatus For Summer Vacation

 "Imagine how stupid it would be if channel hiatuses were actually realistic?"

As the iconic YouTube channel SMOSH who has been on the website since the beginning of existance is about to reach the big two oh, the 20th anniversary of YouTube classics, unfortunately some content creators need to take a breather after making videos about food battles, Pokemon IRL and other crappy stuff about content and multimedia franchises being placed in the real life world.

That's why earlier this summewr in late-June 2024, the sketch-comedy YouTube-based SMOSH duo consisted of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla has announced that the channel and new uploads will be going on hiatus and taking a break so that they can have some time off to go on vacation and start producing the next videos later in the summer when they feel like it. Regular uploads on the channels will return at the end of the summer, presumably around Friday August 23rd, 2024.

Fear not, the iconic duo who has shaped YouTube into what they are today will still continue to make more content as the years go by and will also make bonus content for their Patreon and YouTube sponsor members for the time being. The duo will also continue their SMOSH Flashback podcast series as well as create a new series of podcast episodes entitled Lunchtime Podcast with SMOSH, both of which will be available on both the main channel and the brand's new SMOSH Podcast secondary channel.
