American Ninja Warrior + Talking Superhero Animakls = WTF Creepypasta Nightmare Fuel! - Disney Channel Orders New Animated Series Adaptation Of "Warrior Carts" Children's Books Series

Disney Channel and Walt Disney Television Animation have today announced the production of their next original animated series Warrior Cats. Set for release in early 2027, the new series is based on the award-winning children's books written and illustrated by Erin Hunter and Victoria Holmes.

In the new series, we followa team of local superhero cats working in the ninja warrior realms of Las Vegas, Nevada when they received some local calls for help and some dastardly villain idiot is trying to take over the city and murder all the animal pets in sight. With their combined strengths and powers of teamwork and self-minded peer pressure, they fight in the battle of justice and freedom.

The new series is only the second children's book adaptations series on the MAIN Disney Channel network. While children's books based TV shows on Disney's sister networks have come and gone, the last time it happened on the main network was The Wuzzles, an ABC/CBS Saturday morning children's TV series based n the 70s/80s books of the same name released in September 1985, but unfortunately the Wuzzles TV show was a major dumpster fire in the One Saturday Morning market and failed miserably getting cancelled after only one season. Hopefullly the new Warrior Cats anime will have a brither future then what happened alst time and have more effort and heart and soul put into the project.

The new series is part of the new 2026-2028 content slate of Disney programming with other projects in the works including TV series Journey, the highly-anticipated new Disney Channel and Disney+ series The Doomies due to launch next wek, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's Home Alone movie ripoff bootleg Mickey's Home Alone, stop-motion special A Proud Family Wizmas, the first ever full-length episode of the hit miniseries Minnie's Bow Toons: Pet Hotel - The Summer Special and the upcoming series finale of the hit Disney+ reboot The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder due for releease next month.
