Disney Junior Launches Second Annual Let's Play Summer in Partnership with ESPN and Every Kid Sports

The annual summer vacation season is in full swing and your favorite Disney characters are getting ready to getcha head in the game. Disney Junior today announced the launch of its second annual Disney Jr.: Let's Play! summer campaign that helps young preschooler kids and their families get active during the summer vacation while all the schools are closed. The new partnership links the preschool linear network with fellow Disney/ABC cable channel ESPN and leading sports experts Every Kid Sports to encourage young children to move their bodies and exercise their screen time.

The new partnership will also see the launch of the new fifth season of the hit Disney Junior miniseries vlog Me & Mickey: Let's Play Sports in aid of this year's FIFA World Cup USA soccer tournament. The new season launching Sunday, June 28th with a five-episode premiere will see the iconic Disney mouse corporate mascot ensemble of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy getting ready for their annual soccer tournament outside the backyard of their Clubhouse+ reboot studio. The fourth episode "Eyes Up Soccer" leaked June 17th is currently available to watch unlisted on the Disney Jr YouTube account with the rest of the episodes slated to publicly launch on YouTube and linear platforms next week.

The annual campaign which will see over 1,200 families take on 22 sports and games is part of Disney's ongoing slate of children's content that will take them into the 2030s which is currently planned to end the decade with its next Pixar sequel The Incredibles 3 in 2028 and Coco 2 in 2029.
