NOGGIN February 2021 Highlights

 Love is in the air this February on NOGGIN. We have another great collection of
content this month for you guys.

NEW SERIES
Rhymes Through Times (3 episodes, 9 minutes)
We're very excited about the new musical series Rhymes Through Times a three-part musical celebration of the black American heroes running from February 15th to March 1st. The three episodes feature Nick's biggest properties in a Schoolhouse Rock-esque music program that is meant to educate kids about the black US heroes that changed American civilzation and history forever.

The music and animation is by far the most complex in the app's six-year run, with music and songs by Hamilton actor Christopher Jackson and animation of the NOGGIN characters designed by LionForge Animation LLC who are responsible for Netflix' Academy Award/Oscar®-winning Hair Love short film which was the cause of that Made by Maddie controversy six months ago.

In addition to the videos streaming on NOGGIN, the episodes will also air during commercial breaks on the Nick Jr. cable TV channel like all the other NOGGIN shorts which have aired on the network as early as March 2018 as well as the Nick Jr official YouTube channel which is near reaching 20 million subscribers. Plus, the songs featured will also be released to audio platforms as a digital EP/KP for platforms like iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and Pandora among others.

The NOGGINs At Work (3 episodes, 5 minutes so far)
Launching a few weeks prior to the show listed above, another new series airing this month entitled NOGGINS At Work. This short-form original series takes the name of the channel and turns it into LITERAL NOGGIN avatars which is meant to demonstrate the types of jobs and community service found in the world.

NEW SEASONS
The Fresh Beat Band (Season 2, 20 x 24-minute episodes)
Did somebody yell BANANAS!!!!! The Fresh Beats are back in their second season. Join Jon, Thomas, Shayna and Yvette as they embark on more musical adventures.

I myself personally watching the Circus Mojo, Camping with the Stars and Band in a Jam ft. Ne-Yo episodes when I was younger. So for your nostalgia sake, these episodes should bring back some fond memories

PAW Patrol (Season 5, 28 x 23-minute episodes, including hour-long movie)
The PAW Patrol dogs are back for more rescue missions that make NO SENSE at all whatsoever in their fifth season. This season introduces the "ULTIMATE RESCUE" story arc of episodes as each of the PAW Patrol dogs leads everyone to a different kind of story with all of the members wearing the same gear as the dog featured. For example, in the episode "Pups Save the Royal Kitties" if Chase leads the mission, then the other dogs will all be wearing police outfits.

But even after eight years, their job is NOT DONE YET. The show recently got picked up for a ninth season ahead of the eighth coming out this April and the theatrical movie coming later in August. As of right now, specluation is that Season 9 will air on Nickelodeon in April 2022 since most of the recent PAW Patrol seasons Seasons 6 to 9 have each gotten a February-April/Spring premiere.

Nella the Princess Knight (Season 2, 21 x 25-minute episodes)
The second and final season of Nella has just gotten added. Join Nella and her friends as they go on more bright quests to restore justice and kindness to their royal kingdom where they live together.

It was recently confirmed that the show was ending and getting cancelled but for some weird reason, Nick Jr hasn't aired the final episodes yet and we don't know why it's taking them so long. The same issue is happening with Sunny Day which also premiered and 2017 and is also ending at 2 seasons.

NEW FEATURE: PODCASTS
NOGGIN now has audio podcasts. The first three "Alphabeats" are now available to stream for your listening pleasure. Join in as you learn about the letters of the alphabet in a fun and creative way.

THAT'S IT
March 2021 is expected to be more of a celebratory month, since next month marks the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED LAUNCH of Paramount+, ViacomCBS' latest streaming app and channel that brings all your favorite Nickelodeon, Paramount, MTV, Comedy Central, BET< VH!, CMT and CBS content together in one place

Don't worry, NOGGIN will still be operating despite CBS All Access airing the NOGGIN/Nick Jr series last Christmas and rebranding into Paramount Plus on Thursday, March 4th which is also the date NOGGIN was revived in 2015.

NOGGIN Honors Black History In New Series "Rhymes Through Times"

This February, NOGGIN is honoring the black who made the world a better and peacer place to live in its new original series Rhymes Through Times. The new musical series (3 episodes) introduces children to the perspectives of famous historical figures of black history as portrayed by NOGGIN's iconic properties.

Each of the three episodes features original music and songs performed by Hamilton alum Christopher Jackson. Jackson is the latest celeb to join the NOGGIN staff among Dr. Erin McDowell and Emmanuel Carter, the latter of which had a great time collabing with the service last month.

Episodes include

1-02: My Best
1-03: Why We Dance?

The episodes will air weekly from February 15th to March 1st

Rhymes Through Times is the fifth original series to join NOGGIN's 2020-22 content slate, among the recently added NOGGINs At Work, NOGGIN Knows, Emotibot and School of Yum. Additional programs on the service include Nick Jr's recently launched hits Blue's Clues & You!, Kinderwood and Santiago of the Seas.

It's currently unknown if NOGGIN will make its own version of the Disney-ABC series Schoolhouse Rock! since this series has a format just like it.

Jackson himself apologizes to the adult subscribers that these songs are gonna get stuck in their heads and we don't blame him for that.

2008 ABC game show classic returns April Fools Day

John Cena, Nicole Byer and Camille Kostek to host new episodes

Wipeout returns with old obstacles and more fails

 No, this is NOT a April Fools Day joke!


The wait is over. The legendary ABC 2008 game show Wipeout originally hosted by Johns Anderson and Henson, Jill Wagner and Vanessa Lechay is expected to return with a reboot and an eighth season of 20 all new episodes on TBS on Thursday April 1st, 2020 on TBS!

The new hosts JOHN CENA!!!!, Nichole Byer and Camille Kostek are expected to take on the legendary course which has been a bestseller on TV for over 13 years. The reboot will bring back the iconic obstacles including Big Balls, Sucker Punge, Sweeper, Double Cross and Dizzy Dummie spinner.

Also, it will continue to have the great format of 24 contestants battling it out for $50,000 dollars, with the only three to four contestants going to the epic finale in the Wipeout Zone. As always, one will become victorious but all will WIPEOUT!!!

It is currently unknown whether the original four hosts will return as surprise guest star appearances for longtime fans and if the season will end with a tournament of champions like what happened with season 7 back in 2014.

 Nickelodeon's NOGGIN SVOD channel/app has just launched a new collection of Podcasts. THree episodes have just been unveiled for you and your youngster to enjoy, listen and learn together.

On This Day - NOGGIN Launched

 NOGGIN: It's like preschool on TV and made for kids by kids

Today marks 22 YEARS AGO that the NOGGIN preschool TV channel from ViacomCBS' Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop was launched onto our screens. The channel is known famous for Paul Christie's incredible hosting, Melinda Beck's astonishing graphics and animation for the brand's identity and airing some of the best preschool programs ever from across the globe.

Since its Groundhogs Day 1999 Launch, NOGGIN has been responsible for some of the hottest names in edutainment. For over two decades, Moose and Zee, Blue, Dora, PAW Patrol, Backyyardigans and more have educated and entertained families, preschoolers, celebrities and critics around the world.

Speaking of NOGGIN, the remaining two episodes of NOGGIN Knows have officially released for your entertainment pleasures. In episode 4 "Outer Space", Skye from PAW Patrol (Lilly Bartlam) is the weekly sidekick for the host/teacher Emmanuel Carter as they study the world across the far off galaxies.

In the NOGGIN Knows Season 1 finale "Graduation", the Bubble Guppies, Santiago of the Seas and PAW Patrol characters have made it through their first month of school. Emmanuel starts off with a plot twist so epic, he is the teacher assistant for this episode (That's right, we saved the best for last.) Emmanuel decides to throw a huge graduation party (even though the NOGGIN characters have only been in school for a month)

Also, the NOGGIN SVOD has refreshed its website layout for the new year. NOGGIN's Language Arts/Words, Math, Science, Creativity and Music Videos playlists have been updated with new more colorful designs featuring the best characters

Peppa Goes To Hollywood in Peppa Pig Season 9 Premiering March 5 on Nick Jr USA

 This year is an oinkeriffic celebration for Nickelodeon, because this Friday marks 10 YEARS AGO that Peppa Pig the Channel 5 and Milkshake sensation from across the British ponds has started airing on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and Noggin USA in 2011!

In celebration of Peppa's muddy puddle decade in America, Nickelodeon is ringing the festivities in with a week-long "Best of Peppa" marathon featuring some of Peppa's greatest episodes and storylines.

The week-long celebration will be topped off with the premiere of Peppa Pig Season 9 which sees Peppa and her family fly across the pond to the USA country tis of thee in which they go to a five-star-class diner and shoot a film with Mr. Potato titled "Vegetables in Outer Space".

The four new stories in the episode titled "America", "The Diner", "Canyon Countries" and "Hollywood, CA" are scheduled to air Friday March 5 at 8:30AM

To celebrate the premiere of the episode, Nickelodeon has made a fake trailer and poster for the episodes' featured movie, in which Peppa and her family stars as the opposite clones of Mr. Potato's alter ego Super Potato.

lthough the movie trailer and poster is fake, it still works as a great advertising strategy to get youngsters glued in to watch the new content.

Get ready to celebrate and GET SLIMED!!!!!!! Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards 2021 has been unveiled!

After one year being stuck at home, Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards is FINALLY going in person again! (eventually). Nickelodeon this week announced the host, date and categories for this year's 34th annual KCA ceremony.

The host this time around is none other than 90s Nick legend Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Saturday Night Live, Nature Cat) who returns to the KCA stage for the first time in seven years.

Additionally, Brent Rivera (Group Chat with Annie, Jayden & Brent) has confirmed the OFFICIAL voting categories and release date for the event. This year's ceremony is slated to air across all Nick platforms on Saturday March 13, 2021.

In this parody of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll, Molly has to deliver some Valentines Day cards to some girl named Alison in a place called Wonderland, but in order to do so, she must destroy the Nathan Janak powers of the villainous LITERAL Queen of Hearts who has "CANCELLED!" Valentines Day from their magical land forever. Can the Guppies destroy this villainous queen and save the party before it's too late???
