Oh Boy NOT My Favorite Seat - The Walt Disney Company Studios In Panic Attack Over Fear of Giving Up Copyright of Mickey Mouse and Making It Public Domain

As the Disney company is about to turn the big one double-zero 100 years old centennial anniversary, unfortunately there is a big scandal happening in the Mouse House.

Disney is currently freaking out in worrying over Mickey and Minnie Mouse (voiced by Bret Iwan and Kaitlyn Robrock) being let go from the kids TV king empire as their copyright of the characters created by Walt Disney himself and Ub Iwerks) is about to have its copyright expired by the end of 2023.

If the copyright does expire, this unfortunately means that just like another staple of the Disney brand, the 1926 AA Milne and Ernest H. Sheppard children's books Winnie the Pooh (voiced by Jim Cummings) will be turned into public domain which means that the people can do whatever they want with the character and not get sued. This would unfortunately mean that Mickey would be getting an R-rated horro movie adaptation and the domain getting away with it.

This unfortunately would be a terrible idea as Facebook and Instagram group Preschool Series News & Galore wrote recently on Facebook that Mickey Mouse IS DISNEY and that quote unquote "Walt himself would be rolling angry in his 60-years-old grave if Mickey and Minnie got killed."

But don't worry, it's pretty unlikely that Mickety and Minnie Mouse will be killed off the company as these characters were the true beginning of Disney's success as Walt himself spoke out back in 1954. This mouse duo from November 18, 1928 are the heart and soul of the Disney Magic Kingdom and without whom, Disney wouldn't be as successful as it was 122 years ago.
