Introduction to Thomas & Friends, EST 1945
In the summer of 1945, a children's entertainment legacy was born. Wilbert Awdry (aka the Reverend W. Awdry) created the well-known Island of Sodor and its hard working crew of trans, tractors, buses and other road vehicles. Throughout the years, Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Emily, Nia, Rebecca, Sir Topham Hatt and all of their friends have been entertaining generations after generations with its much loved tales of working together and importance of trustworthiness and honesty.
The idea for this franchise all started as early as 1943 when Wilbert's nephew and future Thomas & Friends book writer Christopher Awdry was down with the measles at the age of three years old. To help cheer him up and make him feel better, Wilbert told him stories about railway trains that he made up from the top of his head. He knew that from that time in his life, he hatched an idea for what would later become one of America and the world's most greats kids and family entertainment franchises of our generation.

SCOOBY DOO WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!! - Warner Brothers CANCELS Theatrical Release of SCOOB. To Be Release On SVOD MAy 15th

A big congratulations to the entire team at Spin Master and Nickelodeon Animation Studios for combing and desinging this 78-episode saga to life. Without the support and contributions, Nickelodeon would have never given birth to an animated town of inventions and engineering.

BRING ON THE SLIME! Nickelodeon Confirms Rescheduled Date of the 2020 Kids Choice Awards
You've been casting your vote for three and a half months, and finally the wait is over! After some quick thinking and reorganizing due to global spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Nickelodeon has finally announced the rescheduled date of its 2020 Kids Choice Awards ceremony!
The KCA will now air on Sunday May 2nd, 2020 at 7:30PM ET/6:30c on Nickelodeon, simulcasted on TeenNick, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. (no seriously this TVY7 Nickelodeon special is actually airing on a preschool channel. I am not sure why.)
However, Chance the Rapper unfortunately will not host this year's awards due to this virus and also due to the fact that he is busy with other stuff.
Victorius lead Victoria Justicee will take over as this year's host

NOGGIN Expands International Distribution With Apple TV+ Channels
NOGGIN has officially launched more international countries! Nickelodeon's top-rated preschool streaming service based on its much-loved 1999 TV network has arrived on Apple TV+ channels in over 38 new markets around the world!
The app is now available to stream on Apple TV+ channels in the Netherlands, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia.
An Australia and New Zealand release for NOGGIN has yet to be announced.

It's A Hard Life - Doc McStuffins QUITS Disney Channel After Eight Years
The end of another era has come and gone.
After eight years in the clinics, Disney-ABC has officially cancelled and wrapped production on Doc McStuffins the longest running preschool series on Disney with a total of 5 seasons and 136 episodes. The series finale "It's The Hard Doc Life For Us" had recently aired this past weekend on the networks. In it, Doc his fearing that she hasn't been putting effort into all of her hard work and wondering if the patients of her clinic and toy hospital have gotten better and are no longer in need of help in some way shape or form.
This show beated Bret Iwan, Russi Taylor and the Johns of They Might Be Giants Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in 2019-20 with its 126th episode.
A big congratulations and thank you to Chris Nee, Lara Jill Miller, China Ann McClain and all the staff of Doc McStuffins who brought this wonderful cartoon to life and gave a great kickoff to the Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior channels in North America.
You will dearly be missed by all of your fans.

IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN - PAW Patrol Wraps Up Mighty Pups Story Arc This Friday
All good things must come to an end, and unfortunately story arcs of kids television shows are no exceptions. PAW Patrol is about to bring an end to its Mighty Pups story arc of episodes which has started off with a milestone in Nickelodeon history, the first ever PAW Patrol movie "The Mighty Pups" airing Veterans Day Week Novemebr 8-12, 2018.
The Mighty Pups saga may be ending, but the PAW Patrol squad are going out with a BANG and there are loads more PAW Patrol episodes still to come.

In the Mighty Pups arc final chapter "PAW Patrol VS The 3 Super Baddies" Humdinger, Harold, Ladybird and Copycat team up to try and take down the dogs and destroy the city. (UH OH!) The PAW Patrol squad must work together with their biggest powers to save their city and get all of these villain characters arrested, sent to jail and the punishments they deserved for their schemes.
Unfortunately this means it would be the final episode for Bryn McAuley, Chance Hurstfield and Callum Shoniker who are retiring after this episode. To these three members of our PAWsome squad, we salute you. Thank you for giving us the epic highlight of the dogs' career in children's television history. You will be dearly missed by all of us.

CONJUNCTION JUNCTION - Jack Sheldon of Schoolhouse Rock Fane Sadly Died At Age 88
We are saddened to report we have lost another founding member of Disney-ABC's Schoolhouse Rock team. Jack Sheldon who started his SHR work with a stunning performance of the greatest SHR song of all time "Conjunction Junction" originally made in November 1973.

Wont You Be Our Neighbor? PBS Kids Announces SECOND Mister Fred Rogers Neighborhood Animated Spinoff
PBS Kids has announced that it will develop a SECOND animated series based on their beloved children's classic Mister Fred Rogers Neighborhood. Donkey Hodie is set to premiere in 2021 produced by The Fred Rogers Company Productions and Spiffy Pictures and created by Spiffy Pictures founders Adam & David Rudman and Todd Hannart.
Like Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, it will feature a shrunken-down animated version of the original puppet characters, 2 11-minute stories in each episode, amazing life lessons and will contain both new original songs and remakes of songs from the Fred Rogers archives.
Speaking of Spiffy Pictures, the Rudman Brothers and Hannart have recently created Frankie and Frank which has recently been imported to the Noggin app in the USA.
As for Donkey Hodie, It's currently unknown how many episodes the first season will include, what voice actors will participate in the production or if the series will include the classic songs written and composed by Fred Rogers, including the theme songs "Wont You Be My Neighbor?" and "It's Such A Good Feeling" like what happened in the Daniel Tiger series.

Slimefest USA 2020 is cancelled. We unfortunately regret everything in apology and refunds for tickets will be available. It's currently unknown if this year's slime filled music festival will stay cancelled or when the postponed date of said event will be announced.
The TMNT exhibit at the Children's Museum of Indiana shut down for a while
Milkshake Live! Musical has decided to postpone all March-April performances. That Broadway show for all the Channel 5 UK Milkshake fans out there should be able to be going on the road again by May 2020.

Is That Your FINAL Answer? - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Returns, ABC Tomorrow at 10PM/9c
Get your hot seats and fastest fingers at the ready, because the now 22-year running legendary game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? IS FINALLY BACK IN THE USA!!!! After almost a year of no new episodes in America, the USA version of this 1998 UK import will be returning to ABC with eight all new episodes lasting one hour each and airing in primetime.
But this time around, there's a few twists. The US version is now hosted by the titular host of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the contestants this time around will be celebrity guest stars instead of random audience members waiting backstage.
It's currently unknown if the OG hosts Regis Philbin and Meredith Viera will return to the project in some way shape or form, despite not hosting this reboot. It's also unconfirmed if they will reuse the ORIGINAL music cues between 1999-2010 and if it will return the Fastest Finger questions.
However what we do know is that aside from the host and contestant changes, it will return the iconic features of answering 15 questions to win the $1,000,000, answering one question incorrect or time running out to answer that said question ending the game in which the contestants leave the studios will all the cold hard cash they won up to this point, the dreadful horn signaling time running out the end of the episode, the iconic catchphrase of "Is that your final answer?" and the classic lifelines of 50:50, Phone A Friend and Ask the Audience the contestants can use if they get stuck.
So get ready to watch one of the most famous game shows of all time rebooted for a whole new generation of fans. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? USA 2020 returning TOMORROW April 8th at 10:00PM ET/9c only on ABC

New Year, New Friends - Frankie & Frank Now Streaming On NOGGIN!
FINALLY after four months, NOGGIN has unveiled its first new program on the streaming platform in 2020. Introducing Frankie & Frank, a new series on NOGGIN from the Spiffy Pictures creators of Curious Buddies, Jack's Big Music Show, Bunnytown, Nature Cat and the upcoming Donkey Hodie, David & Adam Rudman brothers and Todd Hannart. In this new short-form series, two friends named Frankie and Frank take your preschooler onto fun learning adventures teaching everything from letters and numbers to complex 7-digit number operations. These two friends are ready to take your kids on some interesting learning adventures.
