Get your hot seats and fastest fingers at the ready, because the now 22-year running legendary game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? IS FINALLY BACK IN THE USA!!!! After almost a year of no new episodes in America, the USA version of this 1998 UK import will be returning to ABC with eight all new episodes lasting one hour each and airing in primetime.

But this time around, there's a few twists. The US version is now hosted by the titular host of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the contestants this time around will be celebrity guest stars instead of random audience members waiting backstage.

It's currently unknown if the OG hosts Regis Philbin and Meredith Viera will return to the project in some way shape or form, despite not hosting this reboot. It's also unconfirmed if they will reuse the ORIGINAL music cues between 1999-2010 and if it will return the Fastest Finger questions.

However what we do know is that aside from the host and contestant changes, it will return the iconic features of answering 15 questions to win the $1,000,000, answering one question incorrect or time running out to answer that said question ending the game in which the contestants leave the studios will all the cold hard cash they won up to this point, the dreadful horn signaling time running out the end of the episode, the iconic catchphrase of "Is that your final answer?" and the classic lifelines of 50:50, Phone A Friend and Ask the Audience the contestants can use if they get stuck.
