 It's been six long freaking years, but FINALLY the day has come, BBC3 is finally returning as a full-time 12-hour cable TV channel BUT FOR REAL THIS TIME

On February 16th, 2016, the saddest day of BBC's history with the death of BBC3

Thankfully that channel is coming back.

BBC3 will return to cable screens on Tuesday February 1st, 2022 at running the usual time of 7.00pm-4.00am BDT/GMT. The channel will continue to air the classics including opening their broadcast night with 60 Seconds, Top Gear, Don't Tell the Brides, Gavin & Stacy starring USA talk show host James Corden and Disney-FOX' Family Guy which tragically lost the rights to air on Cartoon Network, TBS and Adult Swim last September.

Unfortunately this means it's back to the old drawing board for its kids channel for the over-sixes CBBC which will discontinue its extended 7-9pm hours ran since March 2016 and will go back to shutting down their broadcast days at 7.00pm like it has always done since the BBC Choice days in 1998

TURN THAT BACK ON, SHE WAS WATCHING THAT! - Disney Channel and Disney+ To Bow The Proud Family Reboot on Thursday February 23rd

Disney+ is going back to the early 2000s as Disney Channel and the Disney+ SVOD are set to premiere the new reboot of the very first original Disney Channel animated cartoon series The Proud Family III: Louder & Prouder on Thursday February 23rd, 2022.

The new season brings back all the beloved characters, voice cast and creative team from the 2001-2005 original, including creators Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farguhar as executive producers and showrunners and Kyla Pratt, Karen Malina White, Jo Maria Payton and Tommy Davidson as the voices of Penny, Dijony, SugaMama and Oscar Prouds respetively, the reboot features a star-studded host of new voices including pop sensation LIZZO, comedian Cedric the Entertainer (ABC's Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? syndicated version) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Alexander Hamilton) among others.

The show's iconic theme song originated by Beyonce & Solange Knowles-Carter ft. Destiny's Child has also been remixed with new beats for a new generation now performed by Joyce Wrice who puts her own spin on the Queen Bee and her Destiny sisters' classic Disney collaboration.

The Proud Family is the recent reboot of the Disney-ABC collection, with recent hits including Girl Meets World, That's So Raven's House, The Wonder Years, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? celebrity edition with Jimmy Kimmel, Muppet Babies and DuckTales. Additional Disney Channel classics in the reboot pipeline include Alice in Wonderland's Bakery bowing February 9th and the upcoming reboots of Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil and William Joyce'' Rolie Polie Olie

WHYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! - Nickelodeon & Pinkfong's Baby Shark Reaches 10 BILLION VIEWS on YouTube

 No one is safe from the kids song sharks of South Korea, no matter how hard you try.

After 14 months of being the most watched video in YouTube history, Nickelodeon and Pinkfong's Baby Shark has set another GROUNDBREAKING record in YouTube's 17-year history. On Thursday January 13th, the 2016 "Baby Shark Dance" (doo doo doo doo doo doo) music video has became the first video in history to score a WHOPPING 10,000,000,000 views on YouTube, more views than the entire human population in the universe (I AM SERIOUS) and 2.3 more than Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee ft. Justin Bieber alone.

Baby Shark launched as a cable TV series in December 2020 which was punishment for those who hated the first preschool show based on YouTube channel Ryan's Mystery Playdate for zero reason whatsoever and were forced to watch it. Since the show's launch it has scored swam its way from the bottom of Swimming in the Deep Blue Sea to the top of the Nick cable charts as the bronze #3 popular show for children in the ages 2-5+ category. A Broadway musical based on it has been on the road since June 2019 and both sides of the fish tank couldn't ask for anything more.

Baby Shark's Big Show! is the second of five preschool TV series based on YouTube channels alongside existing hits Ryan's ToysReviews Mystery Playdate, Cartoon Network's take on Lucas the Spider as part of its recently successful USA import of the British preschool channel Cartoonito and Nick Jr. Australian series CKN Toys' Calvin & Kassin's Play Power. Additional TV ventures still currently in the pipeline include Nick's take on The Tiny Chef Show slated to come rising out of the oven later this year.

The biggest highlight of the season is the collaboration with polka accordion playing musician and pop culture satire genis Weird Al Yankovic voicing the Litter Critter in the classic Blaze episode "Recycling Power!" although Yankovic's character voice is more of a British accent instead of the typical country Western one he's most famous for.

The now 57-year-old Run DMC frontman Daryl McDaniels and other rap greats join alongside Nickelodeon's biggest preschool properties over the last 35 years including PAW Patrol, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Shimmer & Shine, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Peppa Pig and the recently launched Santiago of the Seas and Baby Shark's Big Show!.

Run DMC is the latest music legendary artist to join the Nickelodeon preschool team on the heels of last year's successful recruits of Indiana-based dad Emmanuel Carter and Alexander Hamilton Broadway musical stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and Christopher Jackson (Rhymes Through Times).

EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK! - Full House Star Bob Saget Dies At 66

 10 days into 2022 and another legend has just passed away :(

We are so saddened to report the death of television legend Bob Saget who died yesterday at the age of 66.

Saget is known most famously as playing the role of Danny Tanner on the legendary Warner Brothers sitcom Full House. The show was brought back to Netflix as Fuller House with the late Saget reprising his iconic role until the franchise was cancelled for good in June 2020.

Saget has also lent his television royalties of being the host of the 2006 NBC game show 1 VS 100 and the OG host of the long-running Disney-ABC variety show America's Funniest Home Videos from its premiere in 1989 all the way up to the finale of the 8th season in May 1997 and has made three occasional comeback appearances.

SInce then, the AFHV cameras have been passed on to John Fugelsang & Daisy Fuentes, Tom Bergeron (Hollywood Squares) and Alfonso Riferro (The Fresh Princes of Bel-Air, Catch 21). Since the 9th season in 1998, Jess Harnell (voice of British accent Wakko Warner on Animaniacs) has served as the announcer of the show.

RIP Bob Saget. Thank you for over three decades of entertainment, laughs and hillariously bad videos that will remain classics forever.

How DUMB IS Dora/ - Betty White Dies At 100

 We are so sorry to announce that we're kicking the year off on a sour note by announcing the unfortunate death of the oldest entertainment superstar in the world, BETTY WHITE who passed away last week over New Years at the age of 100 years old.

White has been most famous for her legendary role in the sitcom The Golden Girls. Since then, she's been on multiple entertainment ventures including game shows Password and Match Game, her foul-mouth review on the movie Deadpool and her role as Grandma Norma in the 2012 internet-meme popular Universal movie adaptation of the hit Dr. Seuss book The Lorax. She's also been given the honor of writing books for children of her main passion, her love for animals and being the oldest celebrity in history to host variety show Saturday Night Live and win a People's Choice Award at the ages of 88 and 93 respectively. She also has given her own salute to another living legend Morgan Freeman who is most famous as one of the OGs of the 40-year running PBS Kids literacy series The Electric Company which ran from 1971 to 2011.

RIP to one of the funniest and most savage entertainment idols of our generation. Thank you Betty for a century of laughs and a life well lived. You will be dearly missed.
