Africa Mourns The Death of the Elephants - Babar Lead Role Gordon Pinsent Dead At Age 93

 This news will not be THUMPTASTIC to all Babar fans across the world.

The nations of America, Canada and Africa gathered Saturday for one last hurrah to say their final tributes and farewells to the lead role of the Babar children's books franchise, Gordon Pinsent who died on Saturday afternoon at the age of 93 years old.

From 1989 to 2015, he had the great fortune of lending his incredible voice to the Swahili world of this loveable friendly elephenat, originally created in 1931 by Jean de Brunholf. Pincent is also to give credit for the reboot and one of Disney Junior's first acquistions on its February 14, 2011 launch date, Babar and the Adventures of Badou which originally ran from 2010-2015.

Our hearts go out to the surviving members of his family who are mourning this loss and suffering through this very difficult time as we lose another legend of children's entertainment history. Without Pinsent, this loveable elephant's adventures would have never lasted this long and the Canadian polar bears at Nelvana would have never continued to make great kids programs to this day.

So we blow our trunks and shower down water in a raise of gratitude to this unforgetable man whose calm tone and wonderful adventures have touched the childhood hearts of millions worldwide. RIP Gordon. Thank you for all your years of contributions to the world of children's entertainment and your great reflection and interpretations of the African wildlife. You will be dearly missed.

Nickelodeon KCAs 2023 Presenters & Celebrities Appearances Lineup and Music Performances Announced

Nickelodeon today has announced the A-List Celebrities guest list for its 2023 36th annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards airing next Saturday March 4th at 7PM ET/6c. The ceremony takes place at the Microsoft Windows XP Theater in Hollywood Los Angeles, California (expect Windows XP startup earrape to make the kids ears bleed) and presented by Nick/NFL NFL Slimetime sports commentator legend Nate Berglesen and fellow KCA nominee-winner and social star Charli D'Amelio.

Not much else is known about the ceremony's other features. However we CAN confirm that it will have some PSA advertising its streaming services Noggin and Paramount+ as well as the worldwide debut reveal of the full-length theatrical trailers for this year's hottest upcoming movies, including Nintendo and Universal/Illumination's The Super Mario Bros. Super Movie! bowing Easter Good Friday, April 7th, Disney-PIXAR's Elemental releasing June 16th, the Disney's CenTOONial 100th Anniversary musical rock ballad crossover special Wish dropping over the Thanksgiving holiday period on November 22nd and the theatrical preschool movie event of the year that ever Nick Jr. fan has been waiting for, the grand finale of the PAW Patrol Biggest Year EVER 10th Anniversary celebration... - PAW PATROL II: THE MIGHTY PUPS MOVIE which is slated to release on the Halloween PG-13 rated violent jumpscares leading tostupid villain Mayor Humdinger's death date of October Friday The 13th, 2023.

Also to celebrate this year's KCAs, Nickelodeon rebranded and brought back its iconic splat logo branding for the first time in 14 years, originally used from 1984-2009, combining both the 1984 and 2009 logos together like no other kids network can do it before.

This year's ceremony is also another first for the Nickelodeon company as for the first time ever, it will livestream on SVOD simulcast on Paramount+ and will also air on Nick/Paramount Global's teenager and adult-oriented networks CMT, MTV2 and TV Land.

Periwinkle DISAPPEARO - Blue's Clues S6 Voice ACtor Jansen Panettiere Dead At Age 29

 Unfortunately, this bad news will NOT have you exclaim "Peri pocus hocus crocus!"

We are so saddened to report the death of Jansen Panettiere, the actor who got his first job as the third and final original voice actor of Blue Traci Paige Johnson's next door neighbor Periwinkle the cat in the Season 6 final season of the original run of Nick Jr./Noggin's groundbreaking Emmy®-nominated preschool series franchise Blue's Clues who died Sunday at the age of 29.

Panettiere got his first acting job on said Nick Jr. series when he was just 9 years old. His other Nick contributions over the years include Nicktoon The X's, live-action sitcom Marvin Marvin and the Nickelodeon Movies 2007 theatrical feature film The Last Day of Summer starring late comedian Gavie MacLeod. He also contributed to the 2004 Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) Tigers Crusie when he was just 10 years old.

Our hearts and consoldences go out to his brother Hayden and his entire family who are suffering this terrible passing. It's currently unknown if the current version of Blue, Blue's Clues & You! will make a dedication episode in Jansen's honor, as the franchise has had a few celebrity dedications over the years.

RIP JAnsen. Thank you for all of your years of support for the children's television industry. You will be dearly missed in kitty heaven.
