Teletubbies Celebrate 20 Years of Big Hugs!!!

EH-OH! Today is March 31st, and you know what this means? TODAY, THIS YEAR IS THE TELETUBBIES'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY!!!! Can you believe just 20 years ago today, in 1997, this iconic preschool program first launched? It was the first kids program EVER to be targeted at children younger than six months old! Since then, the program has made almost 500 episodes, broadcasted in 120 countries (PBS and Nickelodeon, USA, Nickelodeon, Greece, Family Jr, Canada, and ABC 4 Kids, Australia, among others), and has made great merchandise! And they couldn't have done it without you! TODOS CUNTOS!

Thanks to you and your little ones, the last two decades have been quite a ride! Season 2 of the Teletubbies reboot has just started airing in the UK on CBeebies (BBC's signature UK preschool channel). Today, they wrapped up the first quarter of the second season, so this means there will be reruns on the UK network, and then another 15 new episodes again in a few months. (BBC currently is unknown on when the remaining 45 episodes of Teletubbies reboot S@ will air). In the USA, Season 2 of the reboot will premiere on the Nick Jr. channel in Autumn 2017/Winter 2018.

For video streaming in the USA, the first four seasons (104 episodes) of the 1997-2001 version are available to watch on NOGGIN, with more episodes launnching soon. Happy 20th Anniversary to the Teletubbies and thanks to everyone who supported the program over the last 20 years.
