KB's Hands On with the NOGGIN App

I have been using the NOGGIN App and subscribing since the day that it launched. So I just want to give you a quick run-through of what the mobile NOGGIN has to offer.

According to a article from Diary of a Cord Cutter in May 2015, he said that NOGGIN was only meant for classic content (1990s-2000s shows) and that it wouldn't offe a full lineu of Nick Jr. channel's lineup. But he was proven wrong as through the years NOGGIN would add Nick Jr shows like Blaze, Bubble Guppies, Dora, Team Umizoomi, Wonder Pets and Yo Gabba Gabba (six of the 10 shows DOACC mentioned weren't available at the time that article was published).

The lineupThat being said with 31 shows available (and 2 more coming this autumn) with over 2000 episodes for you to watch, NOGGIN consists of shows from a 24-year archive from 1994-2017. It also includes music videos and Moose & Zee which kids recognize as the mascots who did the educational skits in between shows and during commercial breaks when it was still on TV.

On August 31st (about 7 days ago), NOGGIN added DORA THE EXPLORER: Most Nick Jr. Fans'ARCH NEMESIS! (Allthough its still a favorite for some people). The 172-episode series starred Kathleen Herles, Harrison Chad, Marc Weiner, Chris Gillford, Cattlin Sanchez and Fatina Pacnek as Dora, Boots, Swiper the Fox and the Big Red Chicken respectively who took kids on multicultural adventures teaching them simple English and Spanish words along the way.

Dora originally aired from 2000-2014. In fact most of the shows come from the former NOGGIN TV channel which was rebranded as Nick Jr along with The N rebranding as TeenNick in 2009.

The current shows available on NOGGIN are: Allegra's Window, The Backyardigans, Blaze & The Monster Machines, Blue's Clues, Blue's Room, Bubble Guppies, Dora The Explorer, Franklin, Franklin & Friends, Go Diego Go!, Gullah Gullah Island, Jack's Big Music Show, Little Bear, Miffy & Friends, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, Mofy, Ni-Hao, Kai-Lan, Oobi, Oswald, Play Along with Sam, Pocoyo, Pocoyo Planet, Robot & Monster, Team Umizoomi, Teletubbies, Tickety Toc, Trucktown, Twirlywoos, The Upside Down Show, Wonder Pets and Yo Gabba Gabba.
