The Pigeon, the bird species that started Mo Willems' children's books carreer 16 years ago only likes books about himself, not about other Mo Willems characcters.
Well, 2019 might be his lucky year, because after five years off the coop, Mo Willems' Pigeon is BACK! And this time, HE'S GOING TO SCHOOL!
The Pigeon HAS To Go To School (COME ON!) releases July 16th, 2019 as a 40-page hardcover book from The Walt Disney Company and Hyperion Books for Children.
My predictions:
The book might start with an opening monologue by the bus driver (voiced by Jon Sciezka, Trucktown and Time Warp Trio author in the Weston Woods cartoons based on Mo's Pigeon books series)
The Pigeon is gonna go haywire after the audience screams NO as loud as they can affter every quote that is featured in the book.
