DHX Media and WildBrain have signed a deal with Mercis Media BV to acquire the TV rights to the Miffy and Friends franchise, created by the late Dick Bruna. The deal will involve launches of new Miffy & Friends YouTube channels in France, Japan, Korea, Latin America and Portugal and relaunches of existing Miffy channels in Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, UK and USA. The deal with include acquirements of over 200 Miffy videos and episodes across all platforms.
