Butterbean's Cafe Cancelled Ahead of Bubble Guppies Return

With My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic coming to an end and Bubble Guppies about to air Season 5, Nickelodeon has decided to unfortunately cancel Butterbean's Café which launched last Thanksgiving. MLP & Butterbean showrunner Joey Naber has announced that the series will not get renewed for a third season and that the remaining episodes will be airing on the Nick Jr. channel.

A big thanks to Jonny Belt, Robert Scull, Koda Gursoy, Chris Phillips and everyone on the set of Butterbean's Café for brining this animated restaurant series to life. You guys are some of the best Viacom employees out there and Butterbean would have not been able to continue to spread her food-loving fairy magic around without you and your contributions of support.

I also want to thank all the fans out there for continuing to watch and spread the love of the series of the show around even though we have to say goodbye and wrap things up. You guys are the best fans and Nickelodeon couldn't have done it with out you.

Best wishes and thank you again.

Sincerely,
KYLE BULGER
with love from my pals
JOHNNY BELT
KODA GURSOY
CHRIS PHILLIPS
ROBERT SCULL
and everyone on the set of Butterbean's Cafe

  3. What a shame that Butterbean cafe was canceled. It was such a wholesome cartoon for the kids. So many cartoons out there that are very inappropriate for children to watch. So sad! This was such a good one.

  4. As an adult fan of Butterbean's Cafe, I was saddened to hear it was cancelled. It seemed to be such a great introduction to cooking, running a business and fostering good relationships. Plus, it was just plain CUTE! WHY did NIck cancel the best program in their lineup?? It should have run perpetually! Even in reruns it was continually watchable.
