Unfortunately yes the cringey YouTube kids song is officially becoming a YouTube series. At least the preschoolers are excited.

Nickelodeon has recently revealed its Christmas holiday offerings to wrap up 2020. The channel's holiday lineup ensures they end the year on a high note in the best way possible. That's why for 2021-22 season, PINKFONG Korea's Baby Shark is one of the programs that is currently in production at Santa's Workshop right now.

The new series based on the YouTube music video that has recently hit 7 billion views is expected to launch its first premiere and sneak eek episode "All I Want for FISHmas" on Friday December 11th at 12:30PM ET.

Baby Shark's Big Show! (26 half-hour episodes) is produced and distributed by SmartStudy Korea in association with Nickelodeon Animation Studios USA.

PLEASE Do NOT Turn The Pages - Sesame Street RIngs In Halloween With Golden Book Adaptation

 A monster at the end of the book? Nah, turned out it was just Grover overreacting. Sesame Street the continuing long-running preschool series on PBS and HBO is ringing in the Halloween season with an animated adaptation of the 1971 Golden Books classic The Monster at the End of This Book, which aired October 29th on HBO Max.

The animated special based on the best-selling children's book written and illustrated by Sesame veterans Jon Stone and Michael J. Smollin follows the same process of the book. Grover (Eric Jacobson) is confused at the fact that there is a monster waiting for the reader/viewer at the end of this book, but Elmo (Ryan Dillion) states otherwise. Grover tries to keep cool while trying to solve this mystery. And whatever you do, DON'T TURN THE PAGE (although the reader/viewer is most likely to break this rule otherwise).

This adaptation is among one of the Sesame offerings PBS and HBO have planned for the 2020-21 broadcast season. The documentary Street Gang has still yet a release date to be announced, as well as animated spinoff Mecha Builders. On the other hand, Sesame Street's 51st Season is scheduled to premiere in November.

One of the halloween traditions in recent decades is getting the family around to watch the holiday classic It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown the third Peanuts episode based on the Charles M. Schultz comics originally released on CBS in October 1966 and broadcasted on Disney's ABC since October 2000.

But this Halloween, all of that will change. iTunes creator Apple has announce that it has struck a deal with DHX Media and WildBrain Entertainment, the current co-owners of the Peanuts franchise (Schulz family still owns 20%) to license and air the Peanuts specials on their SVOD Apple TV+. With this move, the lovable adventures of Charlie Brown and his gang of self-called "blockheads" Sally, Linus & Lucy (who are also names of the brand's iconic theme song from Vince Guaraldi), Schroder (who still can't get Ludwig van Beethoven out of his head for some reason), PigPen (who needs to get cleaned so bad), Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Frieda, Franklin, Heather (the self-called "Little Red Hair Girl), Shermy, Patty, Violet their pet bird Woodstock and their pet dog and mascot of the brand Snoopy (voiced by the late Bill Melendez who also helped to create the Peanuts TV content) to both longtime fans and a whole new generation of viewers.

In addition to this deal, Apple, DHX and WildBrain have also announced a new Peanuts series The Snoopy Show which is slated to air on February 5, 2021, on the heels of last year's success of the Peanuts in Space saga that celebrated the 50th year anniversary of Neil Armstrong and the first moon landing from Apollo 11 in 1969.

As of right now, Great Pumpkin is the only one confirmed with ABC still airing all the others. It's currently unconfirmed if the other Peanuts specials from 1965-2010 will still air on ABC, be available on both platforms or move to Apple TV+

PAW Patrol Theatrical Movie Voice Cast REVEALED

 The dogs are out. Nickelodeon, Paramount, Mikros and Spin Master have confirmed the nine-member voice cast for next August's highly anticipated The PAW Patrol Movie which is slated to release into theaters on August 20th, 2021.

The new members of the PAW Patrol team and the movie's voice cast includes such names as Iain Armitage, Will Brisbin, Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Kimmel, Marsai Martin, Randall Park, Tyler Perry, Yara Shahidi and Dax Sheppard

Not much is known about the movie as of right now for the plot of the movie although some sources claim that its about the titular team of rescue dogs trying to stop Humdinger from turning their metropolis of Adventure Bay into a state of udder chaos (and hopefully Humdinger will finally get arrested as fans of the show have requested.)

The film is produced by Paramount Pictures and Spin Master Global Entertainment for Nickelodeon Movies in association with Mikros Images (SpongeBob on the Run), directed by the director of THe Nut Job 2 and scheduled release for August 20th, 2021.

Mattel + Nelvana = New Generation - Thomas & Friends To Go 2d Flash Animated In 2021

 Well it's official. After 11 years, the CGI era of Mattel and Hit Entertainment's Thomas & Friends TV series adaptation is coming to an end as Mattel has confirmed that the Thomas TV series will be going 2D animated from next fall/autumn.

The toy company Mattel has recently struck a deal with international Canadian children's entertainment icon Nelvana Limited to produce two new 26 half-hour episode seasons of the little blue steam tank engine as well as 4 half-hour specials. The new Nelvana-era generation of Thomas & Friends Seasons 25 and 26 (104 x 11-minutes/52 x 26-minutes + 4 specials) is expected to first roll out on Netflix USA, Treehouse TV Canada and ViacomCBS' Milkshake and NOGGIN UK in Autumn 2021. The new seasons follows Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, Donald & Douglas, Emily, Cranky, Harold, Terrence, Bertie, Nia, Rebecca, the Troublesome Trucks, Sir Topham Hatt ("The Fat Controller" if you live anywhere outside the UK/US) and the 75-years running Island of Sodor's all star cast of characters as they go on more adventures, experience more messy mishaps and their troublesome arch eemies causing confusion and delay while teaching kids and adults life lessons on teamwork, trustworthiness and honesty.

As of right now, the reactions of this news are mixed though this might change since the new seasons haven't been aired yet and have already started production.

Thomas will be 2D animated from Fall 2021 so get ready.

On This Day - The Backyardigans Premiered

 On this day, 16 YEARS AGO, The Backyardigans premiered on the Nickelodeon channels in the USA and on Treehouse TV in Canada. This series originally from the Great White North follows the adventures of five animal friends Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha and Austin (Zack Taylor Eiser, Reginald Davis, LeShawn Tinah Jefferies, Naelae Rae and Jonah Bobo respectively) as they use their backyard playground to go to various locations across the globe with each episode containing four songs of a different genre and being centered around a different international location.

The episode locations and genres for the songs featured on the episodes was different in every adventure. The show managed to feature like almost EVERY single location and music genre/style you can think of. A lau with Italian folk music, they've go it. A butterfly chase set to Giacchino Rossini from Baby Einstein, its in there. Wymoing cowboys polka, Arctic James Brown funk, Italian pizza college fight songs, Jamaican pirates, Gilbert and Sullivan jungle expeditions, they crammed it all in there!

The series originally ran for four seasons and 80 episodes between 2004 and 2010. However due to copyright reasons, Nick Jr. channel wasnt able to air the remaining episodes until 2013. There have been discussions and rumors on a debate of the show getting a reboot because of the success of the 2019 Blue's Clues one and allthough I think it would be cool, as of right now nothing has been confirmed.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 3RD GENERATION??? - Disney Channel Greenlights Mickey Mouse Funhouse For 2021 Premiere Date

 Over the past 15 years, Mickey Mouse has played a new key role of bringing Disney animation to a modern day level of CGI animation. And on the heels of two successful CGI Mickey preschool series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers: Mixed Up Adventures, it's only fitting and makes sense that Disney would be glad to do CGI Mickey again for a new decade,

The all new Mickey Mouse Funhouse series scheduled for a 2021 premiere on Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior is the latest entry in the Mickey Mouse saga. In the new series, Mickey and his crew of pals get their clubhouse with mousekatools rebuilt after getting demolished for five years but have remodeled it to a talking funhouse named Funny who leads Mickey and his crew onto new adventures.

Among the people and the reprise of roles from Bret Iwan, Tony Anselmo, Tress MacNelle, Bill Farmer, Corey Burton, Jim Cummings, Dee Bradley Baker, Frank Welker, April Winchell and Rob Paulsen, newcomer to the MMC is Kaitlyn Robrock who takes over the role of Minnie Mouse from the late Russi Taylor who died at 75 years old in July of last year. Beau Black and Captain Bogg & Salty's Loren Hoskins who have worked with Disney before on programs like Jake and the Neverland Pirates and The Lion King Guard will write the songs for the episodes.

Like the third season of Mickey's previous series, each episode will contain 2 11-minute stories and a dance break or song in between them. It's unknown whether They Might Be Giants who performed the MMCH songs in Mickey's previous two series will be contributing to the project again or if new names will be on the job.

Mickey Mouse Funhouse premieres on Disney Channels in 2021.

Dreams Forever Come True - DIsney Channels UK End Transmission After 25 Years

 We are so saddened to announce that after 25 years on the air, the UK and Ireland localizations of Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Toon Disney, Disney Channel +1, Disney Cinemagic, Disney XD and Disney Junior have ended their run.

Since Halloween 1995, Disney Channel has been bringing a new Kind of Magic to a generation of viewers in the UK. From its quirky funny idents & graphics to some of its most memorable programs, the channels have shown no signs of slowing down since their original British inception.

The channels have officialy shut down for two reasons. One being the rejection of a content deal with Sky and Virgin Media who are the providers responsible for broadcasting the iconic networks in the first place. On the other hand, they shut down because of the massive popularity that the Disney+ SVOD has had recently.

We want to thank all of our British mouseketeers and fans out there who have been watching the UK Disney Channels over the past 25 years. Without your support and believing in your dreams, Disney would have never been able to expand its creations and television networks to an audience across the globe.
