Made for Preschoolers By Preschoolers - On This Day, NOGGIN Launched

 On this day, 23 YEARS AGO, the likes of Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop (Sesame Street, Esme & Roy, The Not Too Late Show with Elmo, Pinky Dinky Doo, The Electric Company, 3 2 1 Contact, Square one TV, Dragon Tales, Tiny Planets, Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, The Furchester Hotel, Sesame Tree, Play with Me Sesame, The Helpsters, Sponk!, The Upside Down Show) came together to alunch the second Nickelodeon preschool channel NOGGIN.

Since Groundhogs Day 1999, NOGGIN is not made just for kids, it's made BY kids as every day Nickelodeon's cable channel would broadcast the creations young artists would make on their website and app and put it on the TV live.

THe name still exists today as a SVOD app and channel and a recent cable comeback as a Friday block on Nick Jr. channel.
