Alphablocks 3.0 - BBC and Blue-Zoo Productions Unveil Colorblocks To Premiere September 12th

Those talking blocks toys are at it again.

From the centenary BBC and the BAFTA®-Award Wiinning Studio AKA comes a brand new series to the CBeebies catalog, Colorblocks! The third series in the Alphablocks trilogy, this time focusing on colors and art skills, taking a nod from SDisney and Kids II's Baby Einstein franchise by also including the works and paintings of famous artists.

In each episode of the first season (Season 1, 30 x 5-minutes), we venture the life of six color blocks Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple as they venture on daring quests to bring the Color Magic to Colorland. This new batch of characters will help children engage of their art, music, history, writing, drawing and creative expressions skills.

The first season of episodes drops on Monday September 12th at 7.00am BDT/GMT on CBeebies with the episodes releasing a few days earlier on the company's SVOD channel BBC iPlayer. The first batch of 30 episodes will air Monday-Friday at the same time through Friday October 14th.

It is currently unknown if this and/or the original Alphablocks series launched in 2010 will be available on Nickelodeon's NOGGIN SVOD channel service in the USA which currently owns the USA broadcasting rights of the full 5 years 8 seasons and 120 episode catalog of Numberblocks which released all the episodes in less than two months flat.
