Barney in Outer Space 1998: Revisited - Nick Jr. USA and Channel 5 UK's Milkshake Orders New Preschool Series "Tim Rex In Space", To Premiere in July 2025

 Nickelodeon today has announced the greenlight of the first ever international exchange collaboration of its kind. Nickelodeon USA joins forces with Channel 5 UK's Milkshake to coproduce the all new Nick Jr. preschool series Tim Rex in Space, set to be released in next year.

The premise of this new series follows the adventures of a group of young dinosaurs as they venture in their rocketship to a strange new world of galaxies far, far away where they'll seek the wonders of the universe and learn more about the Solar System and Milky Way galaxies.

It's currently unknown when the series will actually premiere, but judging predictions by the title of the new show, Tim Rex in Space will most likely be set to premiere in around July 2025.

The new series joins a portfolio of other new pre-k hits set for release in. the upcoming new 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 programming seasons, including the likes of Disney Channel/Junior's rebooted series of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2.0, Kindergarten: The Musical, Hey AJ, Robogobo and Magicampers, Cartoon Network/Cartoonito's Barney & Friends' World, Adventure Time: Hex BMO, Hanna-Barbara Throws a Wobbler, Dylan's Playground Adventures and Mo Willems-based Cat the Cat's Show With YOU! and Unlimited Squirrels (both CN?WBD co-productions with Scholastic and Weston Woods Studios), as well as streaming service Apple TV+ newcomers Camp Snoopy and Yo Gabba Gabbaland! and new and returning PBS Kids titles Odd Squad UK, Carl the Collector, Skillsville and the gifgly-anticipated new NBC co-production Weather Hunters starring TODAY meterologist Al Roker.
