Disney Channel Rumored To Get New Logo & Corporate Rebrand This Monstober

After four months of the recently successful Disney Junior rebrand, Disney is planning to rebrand its mainstay TV network, Disney Channel.

The new logo goes back to Disney's original roots with its wordmark logo going back to the original design that the network has been using since September 30th, 2002. It's currently unconfirmed if this logo redesign will feature a newly designed mousehead border that was seen as a convention souvenir for those who went to the annual D23 Expo con earlier this month.

The new logo design and corporate rebrand is rumored to take effect on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 to coincide with the bowing premiere of the Disney reboot America is talking about, Wizards BEYOND Waverly Place which brings back one of the best Disney shows from the channel's golden era from 2002-2014 and reuintes Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jennifer Stone and Jake T. Austin back together to recreate the Russos magic for a whole new generation of magic dwellers.

The new series is part of Disney's annual MONSTOBER and Boo! For You! Halloween campaigns, which also includes new Halloween themed episodes of Big City Greens, Hailey's On It!, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Mickey Mouse Funhouse, Spidey and his Amazing Friends, Pupstruction, SuperKitties, Dinosaur Ranch, Bluey, Kiva and the Kamoja Heroes, PJ Masks: Power Heroes and the upcoming brand new Disney Junior series Kindergarten: The Musical set for September 3rd.

iTunes Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Release Final Episodes of Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Big Nate Series

 Following the fourth illegal content purging from Paramount+ where they stupidly remove programs from their own streaming service that their own company themselves own the rights to, iTunes based Apple TV+ and Amazon.com's Prime Video have saved Big Nate from tax writeoffs. Both streamers have earlier this week kicked off the back to school season by releasing the final 16 episodes of season 2.

If you thought maybe, JUST MAYBE that after Big Nate got saved by iTunes and Amazon and you're hoping for a season three miracle, don't hold your breath. The series wrapped production last month in July 2024. Additionally, the first ten episodes of season two were dumped on the Nicktoons sister channel for free and when an unpopular Nick series with positive feedback gets migrated to the Nickelodeon channel's sister network stations, it means that the team is fired, the series is automatically cancelled and the series has officially quietly wrapped production.

It seems like adapting graphic novels to the kids TV stage might be a bit too inappropriate for the Nickelodeon stations overall, as their other failures include plans to adapt the hit comic book series and graphic novels Real Figeons Fights Crime and Phoebe and her Unicorn, the latter of which being rejected by the network due to their new statement saying female protagonists doesn't exist anymore and that honor is only meant for its preschool TV series including its successful Dora reboot.

Disney Channel To Shut Down DisneyNOW OTT Streaming App on Monday, September 23rd

In the most recent shakeup of kids and family entertainment, the kids TV ruler of the world, The Walt Disney Company has unfortunately given us some terrible news. At the end of next month, its popular OTT streaming apps WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior, WATCH Disney XD and DisneyNOW will be no more after next month.

In the recent version's app updates, the House of Mouse staple has confirmed that the DisneyNOW app will be shut down entirely affected on Monday, September 23, 2024 and like its Nickelodeon competitors, the reason being is due to more subscriptions merging into Disney+ with its Hulu and Max bundles being merged onto the platform after Disney accidentally stolen IP from Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Paramount+, HBO Max, Discovery+ and Adult Swim.

However Disney Mouseketeer fans, fear not because the DisneyNOW brand is not entirely dead. The platform's website at www.DisneyNOW.com will still be up and active and will remain unharmed and unchanged so that Disney website visiotrs can play games and activities with their favorite Disney characters and franchises that have stood the test of time.

15 Years of Disney Con - All The Major Announcements at the 2024 D23 Expo Weekend

 Another year of Disney celebrations with the four-day D23 Expo convention has drawn to a close and with the mouse house's annual exposition, there comes some exclusive new announcements about some of the upcoming new movies, episodes and theme park attractions that will be available to the Walt Disney Company's century-old vault of content for the next three years or so.

DISNEY MOVIES
First up is the exclusive first look trailer for one the upcoming sequels Zootopia II starring Gennieve Goldwin, the late Jason Bateman and Espanol recording artist Shakira, set to release in theaters over the next Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season in November 2025. The new sequel picks up where the original 2016 film left off as Judy Hopps and Nick Wild continue their quest to "Try Everything!" and bring a new generation of connections to the African savannah.

The upcoming live-action movie Mufasa: The First Lion King set for release this Christmas season in December 2024 follows the backstory of how James Earl Jones first took his legendary contribution to the annual Disney Vault and made the Circle of Life possible for the last 30 years. As of right now, Donald Glover, James Earl Jones and Beyonce Knowles-Carter and composer Tim Rice are expected to return. It's currently unconfirmed whether or not legendary British rocker Sir Elton John, age 77 will contribute to the new film due to his retirement from the public scene after the successful climax of his last hurrah during his five-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour which was filmed for Disney+ in November 2022 and made his final ever concert appearance at this year's annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame gala on New Years Day.

Following the suxxess of the highest grossing children's animated movie of all time Inside Out 2 taking over from Frozen. Anna, Elsa and Olaf are getting ticked off and are plotting o get their revenge and take the crown back from them, with the official release of Frozen III set for November 2027. Yes that's right, the stupidest Disney franchise of all time is back for its third chapter to excite kids and brainwash the existance of parents and YouTubers everywhere. Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff are all expected to reprise their roles. Although unconfirmed, Stephanie Lee has revealed that a fourth film entry installment is currently in production but probably won't be released until the early 2030s.

PIXAR MOVIES & SERIES
Those hopping lamps at Pixar Animation Studios are pushing 40 in 2026 and to celebrate, their iconic team of Pete Doctor, Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, Randy Newman and John Lasseter are cooking up some really cool details about the future of this Disney joint-venture.

First up, after a year of stupidity annd laziness, Pixar will FINALLY debut the launch of the highly-anticipated new Disney/Pixar TV series Win or Lose (Season 1, 15 episodes) set to release on Disney Channel and stream on Disney+ for Christmas Delivery on Friday, December 6. The new original TV series follows the adventures and nightmare fuel trauma of a nine member MLB softball team as they cope through the various misadventures and stupid villains in order to compete against some of the biggest names in sports at the annual softball tournament.

Following the release of Elio set for June 2025, Pixar has unveiled the title of its upcoming previously untitled film set for release over Easter weekend in March 2026, Hoppers follows the story of a few stupid human characters and their rabbits and beavers sidekicks as they venture through the lifes and struggles of everyday humans and animals lifestyle over this Christian holiday. The movie is set to be directed by the creator of We Bare Bears franchise seen on Cartoon Network.

Original ideas doesn't exist, and with the upcoming sequels and remakes at Disney, the birthplace of Pixar Animation Studios, Toy Story is no exception. Disney/Pixar is slated to release the highly-anticipated new sequel film that America has been waiting for, Toy Story 5 set for release on June 18, 2026. In this new film, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Mr. and Mr.s Potato Heads, Slinky Dog, the Aliens, Bo Peep, the Green Army Men, Barbie, Ken, Bullseye, Stinky Pete, Andy, Sid, Bonnie and the whole gang return to their roots after the 2022 box office flop of Lightyear when British and Irish dubbed movie star, the world renowned Chris Evans ripped off Toy Story and ruined your childhood idols. However, things take a further turn for the worse when they realize they're coming face to face across technology and the nightmare fuel of AI-generated Disney content. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cozack, posthumous recordings from Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Jim Varney & Joe Ranft, John Lasseter and the legendary composer and songwriter Randy Newman are all set to reprise their iconic roles.

And finally in the Pixar category, Disney has unveiled plans to make a new third entry in The Incredibles franhicse with the development of The Incredibles 3. The new film will quite possibly pick up where the 2018 film Incredibles 2 left off which follows the stories of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible as they venture on a new superhero adventure to save the world from an evil threat. Among the names returning include the likes of Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Hunt, Saarah Vowell and Samuel L. Jackson.

THEME PARKS AND EXPERIENCES
Finally, some of the new details for some new attractions coming to the studio's theme parks including Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris France, Tokyo DisneySea Japan, Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland. These attractions will help to bring a new set of park goers to experience the company ruler of the world that is The Walt Disney Company.

Disneyland, the Happiest Place on Earth celebrates its 70th Platinum Anniversary in 2025 and to kick off the festivities, Disney/ABC Legend John Stamos (Full House, Mickey Mouse Funhouse, MARVEL's Spiderman and his Amazing Friends) kicked off the year-long celebration by crooning his rendition of one of the company's hit national anthems "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from the 1950s Disney classic Cinderella with two sequels and a live-action remake under her pumpkin carraige. The annual celebration like previous Disneyland and Disney World anniversary parties, is slated to run from around late October 2024-early September 2026.

Larry the Cable GUy, the voice of Mater from Disney/Pixar's Cars has unveiled that Frontierland at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida will be getting a major upgrade in 2025 with the launch of two all-new Disney and Pixar Cars themed attractions.

And finally, Billy Crystal and John Goodman demand you to put that thing right back where it came from or so help rthem! as they unveil the launch of Monsters Inc. Land, a new Disneyland and Walt Disney World area celebrating the 25th anniversary of the hit 2001 Disney/Pixar movie memes. The new aarea joins preexisting Pixar themed lands Cars Land and Toy Story Land opened in 2012 and 2018 respectively. It's currently unknown which area it will be built on, however all we do know is that it will probably be opened around October 2025 or October 2026 as part of the company's annual Mickey & Minnie Mouse's Not So Spooky Halloween Party celebration (which includes the annual Disney Junior Jam dance party at the Storybook Cirucs area) and will include easter egg references and callbacks to the hit Disney Channel and Disney+ TV series Monsters Inc. At Work which has yert to be renewed for season 3.

So there's a ton of great stuff coming to The Walt Disney Company, which should be completed and fully available to their army of Mouseketeers by at least early-2028.

Bow Down To Your Majesty - Disney Junior Orders Sofia the First Reboot/Sequel Series Hybrid "Sofia's Royal Magic" To PRemiere in 2026

Finally after six years of boredom, laziness and stupidity, America's favorite little princess is back in the Disney Vault for a whole new generation. Disney Junior has officially ordered a new reboot and sequel series order of the Emmy-winning Sofia the First franchise that hasn't seen the light of day on the network since the cancellation of Elena of Avalor back in the summer of 2020, the WORST YEAR EVER.

In the all-new series Sofia the First: Royal Magic (Season 1, 30 episodes x 2 11-minute stories each) set to premiere on Disney Junior, Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney+ in January 2026, the new series follows her royal majesty Ariel Winter (Modern Family) and her bunny sidekick Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Let's Make a Deal) as they venture in their high school misadventures to a new school named Charmswell in the city of Enchantia, where young Sofia must learn about how to transform her royal powers and protect her royal kingdom.

The new series is once again created and showrunned by Craig Gerber who had previously took the throne for the first two series and later created T.O.T.S. at the beginning of the decade. The voice cast currently set to return includes Ariel Winter as Sofia, Wayne Brady as Clover and Tim Gunn as Baileywick. It's currently unknown of whether or not the original Disney Princess franchise voice actors (i.e. Jennifer Hale, Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara, Linda Larkin, Kelly MacDonald, Anita Mae Rose) will be returning for the new series or instead Sofia will be joined by the cast from the live-action movie ripoff imposters that have been all the rage at the House of Mouse since the first of two Jungle Book remakes in 1994.

Sofia the First: Royal Magic is only the third reboot series that Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior have ever created in their almost 30 years history alongside the 2018 reboot of '80s powerhouse Jim Henson's Muppet Babies which ran from 2018-2022 and the upcoming Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2.0 set for release next year. Other new series joining the Disney Princess cartoons lineup include this summer's TV splash Ariel The Little Mermaid which kicked off the 2024 Disney Jr. "Let's Play!" acronym rebrand and the upcoming Disney+ original series Tiana based on The Princess and the Frog movie released in 2009 and was the last hurrah of the Disney studio's golden age of traditional 2D animation on the silver screen.

NOSTALGIA IS AWESOOOOOOOME - Apple TV+ Launches Yo Gabba Gabbaland Reboot Series; Releases First Soundtrack Album

 Hello OLD Friends! One of the greatest Nickelodeon series of all time has returned for an all-new generation of kids and millennials too. Apple TV+ today (August 9th) has officially launched the complete first 10-episode season of Yo Gabba Gabbaland!, one of the hottest reboot titles of the year. Continuing the saga of the award-winning series created by The Aquabats' Bat Commander and DJ Seaghost partners in crime, Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz, the new series stars female host Kamryn Smith as DJ Kammy Kam along with all the original voice cast present and accounted for.

In the reboot opener "Land", the Gabba Gang venture into a new dimension of Gabbaland where for some reason Plex has the stupidity to ask Kamryn what it is even though Chris Jacobs has been doing this show for almost twenty years and he should be used to this by now. In this first YGG episode in nine years, we learn about how people and animals among other organisms are all connected and live together in habitats and how to make different places your home. The Super Music Friends for the series' comeback is a song about connections performed by Anderson Peck.

However unlike the original series that uses Mario 8-bit music from the NES systems of the '80s, this reboot has their videogame soundtrack based on today's hottest games consoles (Wii, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Switch, PlaayStation 4/5, XBOX 360/Series X, etc.)

PAW PATROL 11 (NEW SEASON!!!)
Continuing the terrible decisions made since 2017 of series wrapping production and being automatically cancelled forever after being dumped their final episodes by migrating over to the Nick Jr. and Nicktoons channels, one of Nick's biggest IP franchises ever has unfortunately gotten a similar fate by airing the final two "Rescue Wheels" episodes of Season 10 on the Nick Jr. Channel instead of the main Nickelodeon network. This might confirm that PAW Patrol will be cancelled after the third movie on August 1, 2026.

Honey, I Shrunk the East High Wildcats - Disney Junior's Kindergarten School Musical Unveils Official Trailer, Curtains Goes Up Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:00am/7c; First 10 Episodes Stream Next Day on Disney+

 Don't let this title fool you, because the East High Utah school is getting a TMBG takeover. The Walt Disney Company has unveiled the official theme song and trailer for the all-new Disney Junior original series Kindergarten School Musical, set to be released on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at the early morning timeslot of 8:00am/7c as part of Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior's daily "Mickey Mornings" block, hosted in-vision continuity by Bret Iwan. Episodes 1-10 of the new series created and produced by Michelle Lewis will also be available to stream on Disney+ the day after launch.

The new series (Season 1, 20 episodes x 2 11-minute stories each) follows the adventures of a new school setting that focuses on a new nine-piece set of Wildcats being forced to suffer their kindergarten days at the famed East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new series follows the adventures of Berti Bolton and a bunch of other HSM-esque animals as they venture through their school days and putting on one of the most hillariously worst Broadway musicals known to man. Among the voice cast for the new series include famed Simon Cowell's THe X Factor British recording artist Leona Lewis voicing one of the hedgehog characters. Additional celebrities and reccuring cast are yet to be announced.

The thenme song was posted to the Disney Junior channel's official YouTube account two months ago as part of the celebration of the launch of the network's new Nick Jr. 2009 ripoff rebrand. However looking at the formula for this series, Disney Mouseketeers knew they've spotten a rat in the clubhouse. The new Disney Junior series is the first ripoff show in PD and DJ's 27 years of existance. The new series is a preschool-age ripoff of the famed Disney Channel DCOM franchise, the most popular DCOM movies of all recorded time, High School Musical, which first launched in January 2006 and had its last hurrah with the very first series on the Disney+ streaming service, High School Musical: The Series that ran on the networks from November 2019 to August 2023

Kindewrgarten: The Musical is the third Disney Junior original series to be released in 2024 following last month's successful Ariel The Little Mermaid and Morphle and the Magic Pets released earlier this year back in March 20th when the channel was still using the 2011 logo. Other series due to premiere on the network this year include Hey A.K. and Robogobo both which are speculated to have their release dates later this fall, but won't get any proper new details until D23 Expo 2024 weekend.

Nickelodeon Sets Dora Reboot Season 1, Part 2 Date for September 13, To Premiere First Half on Nick Jr Cable September 16th at 11:00am (ET/PT)

Nickelodeon has confirmed that it will premiere the second half of the first season of Paramount+'s new hit preschool series reboot of the year, DORA: Say Hola to Adventures on Paramount+ (Season 9, episodes 14-26 x 26 11-minute episodes) on Friday, September 13th. The all-new batch of episodes has one of the stupidest release schedules ever as the new series has only been existed on the platform for a whoppy five months and usually it takes 12 months for a new season of episodes to release.

It's also been confirmed that the first 13 episodes (28 11-minute adventures) will be making its preschool television cable and linear debut on Nickelodeon and the Nick Jr. chanel. However, unlike the original series that premiered at 10am/9c, the new episodes will premiere at Nick Jr.'s regular new episodes timeslot mornings of 11:00am/10c on Nickelodeon and will encore in primetime as part of the "Nick Jr. All Stars" block on Noggin and the Nick Jr. Channel at 5pm/4c. The complete first season is slated to run for three consecutive weeks and to be completed by Thursday, October 3rd.

Paramount+ is also slated to make the streaming service launch of last year's successful PAW Patrol spinoff series Rubble & Crew (currently sitting at two seasons, 52 episodes) with the first season slated to release on Monday, September 4th. THis PAWsome series is currently in the midst of going into the second half of season 2 with the highly-anticipated new episode "The Crew Builds a Ballpark" which guest stars famed MLB New York Yankees baseball star Aaron Judge in a surprisingly well done CGI animated caricature of himself, slated to release Friday, August 26th as part of Nick Jr.'s "Dog Days of Summer" programming stunt running all August long, leading up to the premiere of the 11th season of the main PAW Patrol series due to release in September, which includes the new story arcs "Rescue Wheels" and "Air Rescue" and introduces Roxi and OK BOOMER to the ever-expanding cast of characters.
