WE DID IT!!! - Nickelodeon Announces Plans for Dora the Explorer 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee This Summer

In August 2000, Nickelodeon launched its second cash cow never-ending preschool series Dora the Explorer that was loved by many kids and hated by many parents andYouTube content creators, and a children's television legacy was born. Created by Chris Gillford, Valerie Walsh-Valdes and Eric Weiner, this iconic show continues to bring smiles on today's generation of kids.

Now Paramount and Nickelodeon are providing some muy grande plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest children's TV cartoons of our generation with the launch of the new marketing campaign The Great Dora the Explorer Fiesta! which celebrates 25 years and counting of America's favorite Latina cheroine of children's television.

The silver hubilee kicks off on Wednesday, July 2nd with the premiere of the second season of the hit 2024 Paramount+ reboot ¡Dora!: Say Hola to Adventure (Season 10, 26 episodes x 52 11-minutes)) and the cable and streaming silver screen film release of the second Dora the Explorer live-action ripoff movie Dora and the Search for Sol Derado which premieres on Nickelodeon cable simulcast the same day

The new batch of episodes will see Dora's cousin, primo Diego finally get his CGI launch in the new batch of episodes with the first ever Dora reboot hour-long movie Dora & Diego's Rainforest Rescues which chronicles the backstory of how Dora and Diego first met and how Dora's cousin would later go on to front his own series Go Diego Go! which ran from 2005-2011. The new season will also include new celebratory birthday episodes to celebrate Dora's silver anniversary which will premiere on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels on the week of the franchise's birthday of Thursday, August 14th at 11am.

But wait, there's more! The year-long Dora 25 party will also include new soundtrack albums, singles and EPs available on CD and digital download across all streaming music platforms, a major makeover for Noggin/Nick Jr.'s award-winning Beyond the Backpack back to school campaign and the Paramount+ debut of the remaining three hour-long specials from the original series "Dance to the Rescue", "World Adventure" and "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure"

The Dora 25 party is part of Nickelodeon's 2025-2026 content slate which also includes new SpongeBob SquarePants hour-long special "SpongeBob and Patrick's Timeline Twistup/A Fish Named Sandy", five new PAW Patrol hour-long specials and a third theatrical movie, the new era of Peppa Pig where Peppa gives bireth to a third child. the series finale of Blaze and the Monster Machines and new series Wylde Pak, Super Duper Bunny League, Tim rex in Space and HexVet, along with new episodes of hit series including Rubble & Crew, Rock Paper Scissors and Max and the Midknights.

Sesame Street Finds New Home At Netflix As WBD Deal Nears Expiration Date

The long-running PBS Kids powerhouse Sesame Street has finally found themselves a new home with the over 250+-time Emmy winner set to make its broadcasting move to the classic SVOD video streaming website Netflix for its upcoming 56th season. The news comes in as Warner Bros. Discovery (Cartoonito/HBO Max) is about to end its 10-year contract with the PBS powerhouse following the end of its current Season 55 which ends on 9/11 2025.

Sesame Street is due to make its debut on Netflix in November 2025 with the launch of its upcoming 56th season (35 episodes) which will include a more fresher format shakeup for the iconic franchise for a whole new generation of viewers. This season marks the death of the show's magazine format after 56 years on the air. But don't worry, the new episodes will still contain your favorite miniseries including Elmo's World 2017 and Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck.

But wait, there's more! Netflix has also acquired broadcasting rights to over 100 hours of classic Sesame Street episodes from its nearly 5,000 episode catalog of all 55 seasons of the show made so far, including the 200 episodes that were illegally removed from HBO Max's own streaming service back in August 2022 when the first streaming service purges took affect. Netflix is also due to make console videogames and CD-ROM software for both the main show and its hilariously bad Roblox bootleg spinoff series Sesame Street: Mecha Builders which also ends in September 2025.

The show is still owned by PBS though and like the previous Warner Bros. Discovery contract from 2016 will air the episodes on linear television after a nine-month release window gap. The new episodes premiere on Netflix around November 2025 while the two recent seasons of the show, Season 55 (2025) and Season 56 (2025-2026) will premiere on PBS Kids and local PBS stations on cable platforms beginning around September 2025 and June 2026 respectively.

ARE YOU READY TO GET SLIMED!!!!! - Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2025 Set For Ultimate Summer Vacation Kickoff, Premieres Saturday June 21st at 8PM, Voting Now Open!

Paramount and Nickelodeon are getting ready for the biggest bash of the year, the 38th annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2025, this year hosted by Grammy-winning artist Tyla, this year's ceremony is bound to be one of the messiest KCAs yet. The ceremony is set to premiere Saturday, June 21st at 8:00PM (ET/PT)/7:00c and will be filmeed live in the Banger Arena in Los Angeles, CA.

Unlike previous KCA shows, this one will be broadcasted on the first day of the summer solstice and as ever will be broadcasted across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin, The N, Nick@Nite, Nick GAS, TeenNick, Nicktoons and Paramount+ streaming service. In a similar fashion to last year's show, the nominations will not only include the best of 2024, but also the first half of 2025.

With the annnouncement of this year's awards ceremony being held, this year's nominations have been announced and voting is officially open!

Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master Unveil Complete Voice Cast for "PAW Patrol III: The Dino Rescue Movie" Releasing July 31st, 2026

Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master, the three companies responsible for the cash cow franchise phenonmeon of preschool television that is PAW Patrol, have announced the complete voice cast for the upcoming movie PAW Patrol III: The Dino Rescue Movie, the theatrical ripoff of the show's 2020 Dino Rescue story arc that is set to hit theaters and streaming service Paramount+ on July 31, 2026.

McKenna Grace returns as the voice of Skye from the record breaking second entry, 2023's PAW Patrol II: The Mighty Pups Movie along with famed movie star Jennifer Hudson. Marsai Martin also returns as the voice of roast god Liberty, but the remainder of the cast hasn't been fully unveiled yet for the pups' next silver screen adventure until now.

Other famous names joining the new Nick Flick include Terry Crews (NBC's Simon Cowell's America's Got Talent), Disney Legend Bill Nye the Science Guy, 2000s reality cringe Paris Hilton and famous rapper Snoop Dogg, known for meme song classics such as "The Next Episode (Smoke Weed Every Day)" and "Drop It Like It's Hot"

New recruits to the PAW Patrol team also include the main cast of Henry Bolan as the team's stupid leader Ryder, Rain Janjua as Chse, Carter Young as Marshall, Lucien Duncan-Reid as Rubble, William Denros as Rocky, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma, Ron Pardo as the stupid antagonist psychopath Mayor Humdinger and Hayden Chamberlen who will voice the Dino Rescue member Rex.

The voice cast of the third film is completed with the help of Fortune Feinster, Jameala Jamai and Meredith MacNeili as the final three actors for the film. The remainder of the voice cast will be unveiled at one of Spin Master's press conferences later this month.

The new film marks Bill Nye's first contribution to the Nickelodeon networks in 25 years since the Noggin channel lost broadcast rights to the Bill Nye the Science Guy TV series in April 2002 when Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop turned the channel into the current preschool version.

Hit Entertainment and Mattel Upload Rejected April 1983 Thomas Pilot To Celebrate Thomas & Friends' 80th Anniversary

 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the number one blue engine Thomas & Friends, one of the leading forces in the Hit Entertainment catalog from toy company Mattel. And to celebrate, the two iconic studios and Canadian partners Nelvana have given fans the worldwide public release of the original test pilot to the classic golden era of the show using live-action models from 1984-2009.

The pilot episode produced in April 1983 at Clearwater Films produced by the late creators Britt Allcroft and David Mittion who first made the show for CITV, Channel 5's Mil;kshake!, PBS Kids, Nickelodeon and streaming service Netflix back in October 1984, is a prototype version of the first season's penultimate episode "Down The Mine" (Season 1, Episode 25) based on one of the stories from the first 26 books in the Railway Series written by Reverend Wilbert Awdry between 1945-2011.

The recently discovered pilot unveils the early voice recordings of the original narrator, The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr who was being interviewed on BBC and ITV's Michael Parkinson talk show at the time as well as a newly reorchestrated soundtrack from the original composers Michael O'Donnell and Junior Campbell who worked on the classic era of the TV show in the first 20 years.

The pilot episode uploaded on Thomas &.Friends' official YouTube account ends with a newly reorchestrated version of the classic theme song from the first seven seasons, ending with a bittersweet dedication to the original TV show creator Britt Allcroft who passed away on December 25, 2024.

Eight decades on with 28 seasons and 731 episodes and movies later, Thomas still continues to be really useful engines to millions of kids and parents across the world. And it was the iconic books told to a young 1943 boy who was sick with measles that began it all.
