The world's number one preschool band has done it again as the Electric Eight of Edutainment team up with Walt Disney Records to release the unreleased soundtrack albums of the short-lived Mariachi Spanish clone of The Wiggles Show! (TV Series, Seasons 4-5) that aired in 2006 on the Spanish feeds of Playhouse Disney, Disney Junior and Disney+ in Latin America/Brazil.
The newly released five albums in the Los Wiggles Mariachi series includes Spanish versions of both the group's classic and modern tracks from their 15 year archive at the time with a newly recorded instrumental backing track that was recorded during the Taiwanese/Mandarin clone of the group made for Disney Channel Southeast Asia in 2003-2006. Unfortunately most of the episodes of the Taiwanese and Mandarin dub starring Arthur, Danny, Carlos, Vivi, Anni and Samuel unfortunately still remains as lost media with only four DVDs of lost Taiwanese content and a handful songs screened as Wiggly Animation clips during the English TV show's fifth season.
All five of the Los Wiggles albums include re-released Spanish versions of the band's first four videos and their 2001 10th annive3rsary special Hoop Dee Doo!: It's a Wiggly Party. Unfortunately not all of the songs have been released publicly yet, as the Spanish versions of The Wiggles cover of Raffi's "Let's Do the Numbers Rhumba" from Yummy Yummy (1994), "Go Santa Go" from Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas (1996), "We're Dancing with Wags the Dog" from Toot Toot! (1998), their duet on Rolf Harris' signature song "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sports" from It's a Wiggly, Wiggly World! (2000) and their duet with John Forgety, "Great Big Man in Red" from Santa's Rockin'! (2004) are all still missing.
