Nickelodeon Coronavirus Pudate #7

 Here's what the state of COVID19 has affected Nickelodeon as of recently.

Nick Universe at Mall of America has reopened as of August 10th of this month. All returning visitors at the park are required for social distancing and facemasks.

Nickelodeon's Espanol theme park Nickelodeon Suites & Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is set to welcome back visitors on November 1st.

There are speculations that Netflix will bow down the highly anticipated The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 3: Sponge on the Run in the US on Thursday November 5.

Speaking of SpongeBob Movie 3, the film's theatrical release in Canada had earned $900,000 dollars (a total of 682,000 in the USA and over 1,500,00 in North America).

Some other recent changes to children's entertainment following the COVID pandemic
PBS Kids has aired a special sing-along episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood that tackles with the current situation, kicking off the show's fifth season on August 17th.

Universal Studios Home Entertainment's theme park in Orlando, Florida has temporarilly closed several of its children's attractions, including its Barney and Friends-themed attraction A Day at the Park with Barney on Sunday August 9th due to the pandemic.

Sesame Place, SeaWorld Entertainment's Sesame Street-themed park has welcomed back guests on Friday July 24th

The Walt Disney Company's Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks were also reopened two weeks prior on July 10th and 17th respectively.

As of right now, there is no word on when this unfortunate pandemic will end, but some sources state that the virus will go away and things will go back to normal on Sunday November 1st, this year's date where the annual daylights savings time (clocks forward one hour) will end.
