The Wiggles Get CLONED! - Fruit Salad TV Drops on YourTube September 4th

Just when you thought the band's 30th year milestone couldn't get any better than this.

The 3-decade preschool music icon The Wiggles has announced some new members to their band who will be taking part in their all-new Fruit Salad TV series on YouTube dropping on the band's official YT account on Saturday, September 4th.

The new members include Kelly Hamilton (yellow), Teehay Hawkins (red), John Pearce (purple) and Evie Ferris (blue). The new members are a more inclusive and divorce lineupp than all the other members before.

Don't worry, the current Wiggles aren't quitting, they're just doubling in size. The current Wiggles group including founder and creator Anthony Field and 2013 veterans Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce and Lachlan Gillespie, Paul "Paddy Paddick as Captain Feathersword the Friendly Pirate and their animal friend characters mascots Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Shirley Shawn the Unicorn as well as Bok the Hand Puppet and the Big Red Car and some of the band's older sons will still be hanging around for a while. Field wanted these new members and to double the group since he felt like having just four members would get boring eventually.

Fruit Salad TV (26 episodes) is executive produced by Field and the original Wiggles founders Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page, produced and directed by the band's manager and showrunner in charge Paul Field, choreographed by regular Wiggles contributor Caterina Mete and photography directed by Borce Damcevski and Aaron Hill. Hill also provides post production on the series alongside Liam Doughby with set designed by Andrew Horne. The show is filmed at the band's HQ named after their 1994 hit song "Hot Potato" studios located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The news follows up on the heels of the "We're ALL Fruit Salad!" 30rth anniversary campaign, Season 12 of the band's TV series (the third batch of Ready, Steady, Wiggle!  episodes that started the 2013 members), two new video and album releases Lullabies with Love (June) and Happy Halloween Party 2 (SHOCKtober) and the YouTube rediscovery of the long-lost 2006 Latin America dub.

The band's current tour The Great Wiggly Road Trip continues to tour around Australia with their usual tradition of ending the year playing in their home country around Christmastime (November 1-December 23) still being intact. Tickets for the band's 2021 Christmas Big Show tour go on sale soon.
