When The ORIGINALS Work On A COVERS ALBUM - The Wiggles Drop ReWiggled II

 To cap off an incredible 30th year, The Wiggles, the electric eight of edutainment for preschoolers, released their brand new covers album ReWiggled II, a sequel to the original Wiggles Tribute album released for their 20th anniversary in 2011.

Like the previous album, it includes some of today's biggest Australian rock and popstars putting their own renditions on classic songs from The Wiggles' over 1,000+ archive of Wiggly Tunes. But this time, The Wiggles THEMSELVES are involved on the project with disc 2 featuring the preschool powerhouse putting their own twist on some of the greatest pop culture songs of our generation, including last year's successful cover of "Elephants" by Tame Impalas collaborated with Triple J's Like A Version campaign which recently reached the top of the charts for the organization's New Years Eve chart rundown of the top 100 songs of the past 12 months, along with new covers of Queen, AC/DC, The Chats and more.

Unfortunately some of the songs they covered had lyrics cut out or removed. For example in the Bohemian Rhapsody cover that ends the album the lyrics "Mama, just killed a man, put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger and now he's dead :(" had to be cut out and replaced with red Wiggle vocalist Simon Pryce humming the words instead just to stay age appropiate with the preschool artist renditions and that they wouldn't get into trouble for giving children inappropiate content.

But either than that, this Aussie tots legend has done it again. We will definitely be listening to this. To celebrate the release, the Wiggles members themselves also signed a few copies of the album. Order your copy now "before they sell out like hot potatoes!"
