Hey Duggee Rips Off Blue's Clues??? - BBC Announces Children's Television Slate for 2024-2025 Television Upfront Season

 Britain's favorite scout leader dog is back, and this time, he's ripping off Blue's Clues from Nickelodeon and getting sued by Steven Burns. BBC which has came out of its unbelievable centennial party from last October's incredible 100 Years of Our BBC celebration, has announced a new slate of preschool and children's programs for the 2024 to 2025 television upfront season.

NEW SERIES
Hey Duggee's Squirrel Club
(Season 1, 26 x 7-minutes) - A CBeebies ripoff of Blue's Clues from Nickelodeon, the new spinoff series of the award-winning BBC series Hey Duggee introduces a new set of animal students to Hey Duggee's clubhouse school in the city of Woodland and also inviting the viewers watching on television at home to hang out with them.

Popularity Papers (Season 1, 26 episodes) - A new soap drama styled reboot and sequel series to the CBBC '78 smash hit Grange Hill which ran for three decades and over 1,000 episodes, this new elementary school drama based on the novels by Amy Ignatow follows the adventures of a clueless amnesiac news team as they tried to send their newspapers to other schools across the British nation.

Stanley Can (Season 1, 52 x 7-minutes) - Based on the books written and illustrated by William bee and produced by iGeneration Studios in association with Mackinnon & Saunders, this series follows the adventures of Stanley the hamster, who is always optimistic and is up to the challenge of completing everything on his long list of chores.

 (Season 5, 20 x 7-minutes) - America and Britain's favorite top school dog is back and better than ever. The six-time Kidscreen and BAFTA®-award winning series will return for its fifth round of squirrels, hugs and badges in 2025 in time for the franchise's 10th anniversary.

BRITISH ACQUISTIONS
CBeebies has also acquired the rights to the Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoonito and Max USA SVOD sort film Peter and the Wolf, based on the musical suite of the Disney and Kids 2-owned Baby Einstein catalog composed by Sergei Protokiev and produced by the Irish Hospice Foundation.
