Sesame Street To Make Triumphant Return With New Rebranded Format and New Streaming Home, To Release Monday, November 10th on PBS Kids and Netflix

America's longest-running #1 preschool series is back this fall and this time it's bigger and better than ever. Following the show's recent departure from Cartoon Network USA and HBO Max following their recent decade-long contract with Warner Bros had recently expired, the award-winning Sesame Street is set to return with avengance in the all-new Season 56 (35 episodes) premiering on its birthday.

Releasing Monday, November 10thon PBS Kids linear TV channels and its new streaming home Netflix, the highly anticipated new season will consist of a new rebranded format of 11-minute stories with the remainder of their 30-minute episodes being filled with new episodes and reruns of their hit miniseries Elmo's World and Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck repsectively.

The new season's launch is a full-circle moment for the franchise as like its 40th anniversary season made back in November 2009, the new batch of episodes will premiere on the show's November 10th birthdate, the release of the very first episode back in 1969. Warner Bros. Records will also release a new soundtrack album EP containing the newest reorchestration of the theme song and the first four original new songs from the upcoming season set for release on the date the first four episodes air.

The season will be divided into three batches, with the first four of its 35 episodes slated for release on PBS Kids and Netflix on November 10th. The remaining 31 episodes will be released into two more separate volumes leading up to the season finale in June/Huly 2026
