Times Square Visiting Is CANCELLED - New Years Eve 2021 To Go Virtual This Year

 Just when you thought this 2020 year of unfortunate health virus and election results couldn't get any more confusing, the Times Square annual new years eve celebration will be going virtual via video chat this year. The ball will still drop on top of Number One Times Square, the Crossroads of the World as usual, all party goers will be staying at home instead of visiting the iconic landmark like any other year.

Ryan Seacrest' annual TV party Dick Clark New Years Rocking Eve will also be forced to deal with this change. But they're not taking down the party. They still got a great lineup coming at you this New Years Eve Thursday 12/31

On This Day - iCarly Gets CANCELLED

 On this day 8 YEARS AGO, the final episode of Nickelodeon's iCarly sitcom aired. Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, Dan Schneider and the entire team moarn the cancellation of one of Nickelodeon's greatest programs in the very last episode "iGoodbye", in which follows Carly moving out and a celebration of the series' most iconic characters and moments.

The series still continues to air reruns on The N and TeenNick to this day.

IT'S STILL GOTTA RHYME!!!!!!!! - SMTV Live Reboot Title & Release Date REVEALED

 If you watched CITV and ITV1 between 1998-2006 you may remember waking up between 9:25AM-12:30PM to watch two significent programs SM:TV Live and CD:UK hosted by three gorgeous CHUMS, Ant & Dec Anthony McPartlin, Decan Donnelly and the "Burrrrrrmingham dog" known as Catherine "Cat Noddy Slade" Deely.

A lot has changed since the series ended 17 years ago on the final saturday of 2003. Fear not. Like all other franchises, we currently live in a timeline where shows are brought back for reboots aka revivals, some with a new cast and most of them with surprise return involvements from the OGs who made the brands so special in the first place SMTV Live however is no exception.

Ant, Dec and Cat are slated to reunite and revive their iconic saturday morning program in a new version of the show titled The Story of SMTV Live in which will give a documentary view of how the iconic property was born, how Ant, Dec and Cat first put their iconic postbag dances and rhyming ragequits together and the backstory of how one of the greatest franchises of children's television was born. The exclusive reboot is scheduled to air on ITV1 in the UK and Ireland for the Christmas holiday season in between late November-December 2020.

Unfortunately, the documentary revival of the series will only focus on the Ant, Dec and Cat years between 1998-2002, this means that the late 2001-2003 versions hosted by Brian Dowling, Tess Daly, Hollyoaks star James Redmond, STEPS band members Ian H. Watkins and Claire Richards, Shavaughn Rouakere, Deman Clarke and CITV veteran Stephen Mulhern will not be included.

In the past decade, Ant and Dec have been giving everything they've got to bring back their iconic children's program. The most notable ones being a previous reunion with Cat at Walt Disney World in Florida during the final episode of Saturday Night Takeaway Season 14 in April 2017, as well as a more inappropiate approach during the duo's appeaance on Celebrity Juice six years prior to that. A 20th anniversary episode in 2019 was also plannned but was ultimately scrapped due to it being just an idea.

The SMTV Live program originally ran between 29th August 1998 and 27th December 2003 lasting five years, six seasons and 279 episodes. The series won 2 BAFTAs, a British comedy award and the Peoples Choice award. The music chart program CDUK which followed each SMTV Live episode afterwards at 11:30-12:30 (shorten to 11-11:30AM due to coverage of sports or grand prix at times) would go on to continue three years after SMTV ended and wrapped up its weekly Saturday Chart Number Ones on April FOols Day 2006.

They Escaped The Water Tower AGAIN??? - Animaniacs Revival Premiering Sunday on Hulu SVOD

It's ALMOST time for new An-ni-man-i-acs! who are still escaping the Warner Bros. water tower, having the US president play the saxophone, getting balogna getting stuck in their sacks, having pay for play contracts, asking viewers to sit back and relax and being even more zany to the max 27 years later.

 They've been gone for 22 years and yet they seem to recognize it.

Hulu has announced that it will premiere the highly anticipated Animaniacs reboot, originally greenlit in 2017 this Sunday, November 22nd.

Voice actors of the Warners, Pinky and Brain Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, Tress MacNelle and Maurice LaManche,music  composer and songwriter Randy Rogel and series creator Steven Spielberg are set to return to their iconic property again.

The series was greenlit for two seasons of 26 episodes with 13 episodes each per season. Like the original, these new adventures will have new scenarios, be full of wacky characters, have catchy songs that will most likely be turned into internet memes again and break the fourth wall as many times as they want.

In another subplot, Pinky and the Brain also update their technology and continue their quest of taking over the world but still constantly fail to disaster and misery.

This reboot may fix some inaccuracies to past concepts, including "Yakko's Nations of the World" one of the most popular tracks of the franchise.

Charlie Brown Fails Football Kick AGAIN - Charlie Brown Peanuts Holiday Specials Tradition To Continue On PBS and PBS Kids in November 2020

 When it was announced in October that the Peanuts holiday specials would move from cable tv to the iTunes streaming service Apple TV+, many people were not happy.

But fear not, all hope is not lost. Charlie Brown, Snoopy and their gang of self-called "blockheads" will continue to air holiday specials on cable TV as well as being through a SVOD counterpart.

PBS and PBS Kids will air A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (1973) and the 1965 classic that started it all A Charlie Brown Christmas at 7:30PM on November 22 and December 13, 2020 respectively. Apple TV+ will also have both specials free to customers over Thanksgiving weekend November 25-27 and December 11-13 respectively.

On This Day - Disney Plus SVOD Launched

Nickelodeon's Blues CLues To Create Variation of Black Friday In Partnership with Baby2Baby

 With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays just around the corner, Nickelodeon is creating the very first Blue's Clues & You! Blue Friday, a Blue's Clues variation of the last Friday of November holiday Black Friday where the sales of products are in full demand.

Nickelodeon is teaming up with Baby2Baby to create this event. This Blue Friday event will be the campaign for the next two BC&Y episodes "Blue's Big Baking Show" and "Blue and the Night Before Christmas" airing on Nov 20 and Dec 4 respectively.

Both episodes will introduce Carolyn Fe to the cast as the fictional lola grandmother of the franchise's current host Joshua Dela Cruz (Disney's Aladdin Broadway) as well as another reunion with the former hosts Steven Burns and Donovan Patton

Following the inital broadcast of the latter on December 4 on Nickelodeon, an interactive play-along episode version of the episode will be uploaded to NOGGIN, Nickelodeon's iconic preschol SVOD channel. The said play-along video will also be included as part of the channel's 19th annual Warm & Fuzzy Holiday Party Christmas celebration which includes 50+ episodes, stories, activities and games from such icons as PAW Patrol, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, Bubble Guppies, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Team Umizoomi, Peppa Pig, Wallykazam!, Shimmer and Shine, Nella the Princess Knight, Top Wing and Santiago of the Seas among others.

Forget The Production Hiatus, SESAME STREET IS BACK! - Season 51 Premieres November 12th on HBO and HBO Max

They've been away for four months and it's about time to ask the question of getting to the titular location of this late 60s kids show once again.

Sesame Street, the longest-running kids show is back for a whole new Season 51 (35 half-hour episodes) which is expected to premiere on HBO and its SVOD network HBO Max at 9AM ET/8c on Thursday, November 12th, according to Sesame Workshop press. The announcement was made on the birthdate of the show Tuesday November 10th.

 Despite a production hiatus due to COVID-19, NOTHING will stop Sesame Street from continuing to entertain the world.

On This Day - Sesame Street Premiered

On this day, 51 YEARS AGO, PBS and HBO's legendary kids program Sesame Street first premiered onto our screens

For over 50 years, Sesame Street's beloved cast of characters and production team have brought a new generation of kids, families, celebrities and critics worldwide to a new educational curriculum that both included educational concepts such as literacy, math, science, social studies and social skills, and a milestone as one of the FIRST preschool shows in television history to go over adult topics and real life problems that happen in our world such as divorce, natural disasters, autism and even death.

In honor of the anniversary, Sesame Workshop has confirmed that the first episode of Season 51 will release on HBO and HBO Max on Thursday, November 12. Like last Spring's successful The Not Too Late Show with Elmo (Ryan Dillon), the 35 episodes will air on the platform on Thursdays at 9AM.

On This Day - Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas Movie Released To Video

On this date 16 YEARS AGO, Disney's iconic holiday flick Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas was first released to DVD and VHS.

The film was the last Disney full-length theatrical/direct-to-video movie to feature the posthumous voice talents of Wayne Allwine, Russi Taylor and Alan Young.

The Magic Literally Takes Flight - Season 3 of Shimmer & Shine Now Airing On NOGGIN

Nickelodeon's genie girls are at it again in the third season of Shimmer and Shine now airing and streaming onto the NOGGIN SVOD.

In the third season of this iconic 2015 Nicktoon (20 half-hours), the titular genies, Leah, Zac, Kas, Zeta and Nazboo's universe of Zahramay Falls grows as their next wish-granting adventures takes them up into the air into the Zahramay Skies. As they explore this whole new world, they will need to work together in order to help all their friends and arch-enemies with their everyday issues in life.

As NOGGIN themselves originally mentioned when posting their November 2020 highlights for the app/SVOD's run, this is only the first half (10 episodes) that they announced would be uploaded and made available. The second half's air date on the platform has yet to be announced.

The Wiggles YouTUbe Channel To Release NEVER BEFORE SEEN RARE Content

The Wiggles, the number one children's band from Australia the land down under has gotten some exciting news for its YouTube subscribers. Coming soon, the band's official YouTube channel will be releasing some NEVER BEFORE SEEN content from the band's 30 years archive.

In a video announcing these uploads announced by surviving OG Anthony Field, the rare content that has been never seen by the public audience for a long time will include all three eras of the group including the original four with Field, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page, the Sam Moran era from November 2006-January 2012 and the Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce and Lachlan Gillespie era that has been in use since 2013.

Among the recently rare content expected to hit the band's YouTube channel airwaves include the Disney Channel Australia 1999 broadcast of their 1997-98 Wigglemania: Live in Concert Tour and the CinemaLive theatrical release of their 2010-11 Wiggly Circus and Greatest Hits tour among others.

What Is Jeopardy? Alex Trebek Dead At 80 Years Old

 Well it's official, Trebek's run as host of Jeopardy is over. After hosting Jeopardy! the iconic answer to question game show for 36 years and losing a battle with cancer, host Alex Trebek has died at the age of 80 years old.

Although a new host has yet to be announced, the series' producers have confirmed that enough new episodes of Trebek have been made to run through at least Christmas Day 2020 on Friday, December 25. Trebek's final episode on Christmas will include a farewell message to all the fans that he had recorded before his cancer diagnosis problem.

Despite a new host has not been confirmed, there has been speculation that the longest-running champion Ken Jennings, winning 74 episodes in a row and over $2,500,000 may become the new host since reading out the categories of the answers since the premiere of the 37th season. Johnny GIllbert is reported to still be announcer.

 Well it's unfortunately official after only four years and one term in the US office and a bunch of hatred for no reason, unfortunately famous business man and TV host Donald J. Trump is giving up as the president of the United States of America.

Today it has been announced that America will go back to being a respectful democracy instead of a mistreateed nation as it was confirmed that Joe Biden would take over as the president in January of next year, winning the recent 11/3 election at 75 million votes, opposed to Trump's vote count at 70 million.

Although he has unfortunately made a few bad choices in his job, Trump has still shown most great significence for all Americans for future generations.

We wish Biden nothing but the very best as he starts his run in the DC office next Winter.

Farwell former president Trump and thank you for your contributions to the nation and trying your hardest to "Make USA Great Again". You will dearly be missed by all citizens.

On This Day - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake & The Neverland Pirates Got Cancelled

On this day, FOUR YEARS AGO, two Playhouse Disney Channel/DIsney Junior icons aired their last episode. On this date, 2006's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Valentines Day 2011's Jake and the Neverland Pirates bowed out into the animation heavens.

Both programs had a star-studded lineup of production crew and guest talents including They Might Be Giants (soundtrack), Captain Bogg & Salty (soundtrack), Maia Mitchell (Teen Beach Movie), Sharon Osbourner, Maurice LaManche (Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain), Rob Paulson (Animaniacs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Danger Rangers) and '60s Disney legend Dick Van Dyke (Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins 2: Returns)

On This Day - Little Bear and Top Wing Premiered

 On This Day, 25 YEARS AGO and THREE YEARS AGO, Nick Jr's Little Bear and Top Wing premiered to the USA and Canada in 1995 and 2017 respectively.

In Maurice Sendak's Little Bear (5 seasons, 65 x 24'' episodes) based on the classic children's books illustrated by Sendak (Where the Wild Things Are, The Nutshell Kids Library, Really Rosie, In the Night Kitchen) follows the adventures of Little Bear and his parents and his friends Duck, Cat, Owl, Hen and Emily and her grandparents as they go on whimsical adventures.

Fun fact: In all non-US airings of Little Bear, the opening theme song is set to "Allegro Vivace" from Violin Sonata No. 1 in D Major by Franz Schubert.

On the other hand, Top Wing created by Scott Kroft (creator of The Fresh Beat Band and developer of PAW Patrol) follows the adventures of Brody, Penny, Rod and Swift as they train at their academy and earn their wings by helping others.

All seasons of Little Bear and Season 1 of Top Wing are available to stream on the NOGGIN SVOD.

Underwater Earworm Breaks Video Charts As PINKFONG Korea's Baby Shark Reaches Number 1 On Top of the YouTube Charts

Well it's official, the preschool-loving and many others-annoying PINKFONG Korean children's song "Baby Shark Dance" (doot doot doot doot doot doot) has reached the number one spot on the YouTube charts breaking most-watched video records on the platform.

The November 2016 music video has just become the next big kids music and internet meme sensation rank with a record-breaking total of being watched 7,042,000,000 times, knocking 2018 meme earworm "Despacito" by Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi ft. Justin Bieber off the top spot with 7,038,000,000.

To celebrate, the song has also been given the RIAA Diamond Record award.

This achievement is only part of bringing the international Korean port to a whole new generation as the first episode of the Baby Shark's Big Show on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr is set to bow down on December 11th at 12:30pm ET. Although the NOGGIN SVOD now has a practice of airing all of the recent and current programs airing on Nickelodeon's cable networks, it's currently unknown and unconfirmed of whether the series will be available to NOGGIN subscribers as well, although several music video crossovers aired during commercial breaks have wam their way onto the platform.

This November with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons right around he corner is the time to start getting your family together to end the year right.

Since January 2020 of this y ear, NOGGIN has been reusing the strategy of making collections of content based on a certain theme, the first time doing the monthly process since October 2015 (although between November 2015-September 2019 also had a few occasions left and right). This month, the SVOD network's focus is on ancient civilization paying homage to the challenges of ancient Egypt.
