On THis Day - Hey Duggee Premiered

 SCOUTS ATTEN-TION! FORWARD MARCH!

On this day SIX YEARS AGO, BBC's Hey Duggee first graced our screens. This lovable aft-erschool club teaching dog voiced by Sander Jones with narration by award-winning comedian Alexander Armstrong has since become a staple in childrens entertainment.

Since Duggee's first encounter with his five squirrels Betty (Jasmine Bartholomew), Happy (Duke Davis), Norrie (Poppy Boyes), Roly (Leo Templer and Dexter Varrall) and Tag (Alfie Sanderson), the series has aired and produced over 156 episodes across three seasons, aired on over 50 channels and platforms in over 30 languages, a live show theme park adaptation at CBeebies Land Alton Towers, multiple books and merchandise products, a digital CD album and four songs/singles across Apple Music and Spotify, a YouTube channel with over 800,000 subscribers and nine videogames across iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.com App Stores.

The series' recent episode S3E32 "The Christmas Badge" is expected to hit USA chimneys on Nick Jr. and NOGGIN USA on Christmas Eve Thursday December 24th at 8AM ET/7c.

Sander, Alex and I thank you for supporting this program over the past six years. With just time for one more thing...DUGGEE HUG!!! If it wasnt for your support, this program would have never existed in the first place and Duggee wouldnt have a school to run or badges to give to his students in this BAFTA-winning and five time Kidscreen Awards winning smash hit that has been loved by children from the UK ponds to across the world.

Best wishes and thank you again.

Sincerely with Duggee Hugs and warm regards
