Nickelodeon and Paramount have announced their second Netflix streaming service acquisition of the 2022 Netflix preschool series The Creature Cases (2 seasons, 20 episodes) to premiere across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin and Paramount+ on Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 1:00PM (ET/PT) following the premiere of the new Blaze and the Monster Machines 10th anniversary hour-long TV movie special "Blaze in Videogame Land: A Monster Machines Super Special"
In this captivating anime series for the TV-Y audience crowd, a ragtag group of gangster detectives go on stupid mysteries that are intended to teach children about animal IQ skills, in a lame NEtflix attempt of ripping off classic Nick Jr. spinoff series Go Diego Go! starring Dora's cousin Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place, Tally Hall's Happy Monster Band for Disney Channel)
The Creature Cases is Nick Jr's second Nickelodeon acquistion and the fifth Netflix series in conjunction with the Nickelodeon children's networks, following the 2019 and 2020 original series one-hit wonders dumpster fires Pinky Malinky and Glitch Techs, the more successful and professional preschool series Sharkdog based on the series of children's books and last year's successful TV broadcast of the hit series Gabby's Dollhouse starring former Blue's Clues and Team Umizoomi cohost Donovan Patton, the latter of which is currently slated to end after five seasons when reaching the 100th milestone and also has a theatrical feature film set to be released in September 2025.
