Thinking chairs, mailtime and notebooks at the ready, because the wait is over. After nine months, Blue's Clues & You, Nickelodeon's first ever reboot of one of their former preschool properties, is finally here!!! The new season of 20 episodes by 23 minutes will kick off on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. Channel and NOGGIN SVOD on Wednesday August 19th at 9AM ET/8C.
In the second season of this reboot (20 episodes), Blue and Joshua Dela Cruz will go on even more learning adventures unlike never before, making new friends and finding more clues. As always, the episodes in the reboot will include surprise guest appearances from OGs Steven Burns and Donovan Patton as a refuelling of nostalgia for those who grew up with the original series. This season will introduce newcomer Carolyn Fe to the cast as Dela Cruz' fictional grandma.
The first episode of the season premiering on the aformentioned date listed above is a remake of the Season 5 episode "Blue's Big Band" retitled as "Blue's Big Beat Band". As always, following that episode premiere, new episodes will roll out either weekly or monthly on Nickelodeon's preschool block and channel platforms.
Also, later in August, the Blue's Clues & You! bedtime stories podcast will launch to the world. This podcast will feature Josh and Traci Paige Johnson (who voices Blue in the series) telling some interesting bedtime stories that will help your little one drift off to sleep.
There are three episodes of Season 1 remaining, with the Season 1 finale predicted to air in the fall/autumn, between late September and mid December.
