Those DUMB BABIES are back! Nickelodeon has unveiled today that it will bow down the all-new CGI reboot of one of its very first Nicktoons ever made, Rugrats on ThursdayMay 27, 2021.
The reboot which is picked up for 26 episodes follows the iconic baby family which haven't been seen since August 2004 embark on more crazy adventures which involve Reptar snacks, Angelica roasting everyone and Chuckie bein a scaredy cat of EVERYTHING.
A majority of the award-winning team from the original series will return for a new generation. Among the famous faces returing include the original voice cast of EG Daily Cartwright, Nancy, Cheryl Chase, Kath Soucie and Cree Summers (Game Shakers) as Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Phil & Lil and Susie respectively, Arlene and Gabor, the team of Klasky Csupo (Rocket Power, The Wild Thornberrys, McDonalds The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald) and DEVO members Mark Mothersbaugh (Yo Gabba Gabba!, Dance A Lot Robot) and his brother Bob Mothersbaugh returning to the beloved project as the series' composers and songwriters.
The new cast includes Tommy Bowey as Stu Pickles, Ashley Rae Spillers as Didi Pickles, Anna Chlumsky as Charlotte Pickles, Timothy Simons as Drew Pickles, Natalie Mourales as Betty Deville, Tony Hale as Chas Finster, comedian Michael McKeane (Oswald) as Lou Pickles, Nicole Byer (Wipeout 2021 Reboot) as Dr. Lucy Carmichael and Omar Benson Miller as as Randy Carmichael.
