The wait is over, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ are slated to bow the highly-anticipated iCarly reboot on Thursday June 17th, 2021!
The new reboot reunites famous stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress in their iconic roles. The series will take place nine years after the original show ended in 2012.
Unfortunately Cosrove's BFF and web video partner Jennette McCurdy will not be returning for the reboot, as the veteran Nick star has decided to retire from acting due to her feeling nervous about her iconic roles.
And that's not all! Nick and Paramount+ have also confirmed that live-action/animated reboots of Dora the Explorer and The Fairly OddParents! and a The CW reboot of their classic game show Legends of the Hidden Temple are also in the works!
These new revivals join Nick's current batch of revival series which include Rugrats (bows May 27th in two weeks), Are YOU Afraid of the Dark? (which recently hit its 100TH EPISODE "The Tale of the Darkhouse", Blue's Clues & You! (with another two seasons currently in production) and All That (which recently got a season 12 greenlit)
Additional revivals in Nick's past include the 2002 short-lived Wild & Crazy Kids, Double Dare, Figure it Out, Are YOU Smarter Than A 5th Grader and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
