Edutainment At Its Finest - New Nelvana Limited Website UNVEILED!

Nelvana Ltd; A Corus Entertainment Company has been giving the best in quality entertainment for over half a century. Since June 30, 1971, the company represented by a cute animated polar bear has been giving kids and adults the award-winning education and entertainment they deserved.

With the company reaching its golden 50th anniversary this summer, it only makes sense that Nelvana's official website (www.nelvana.com) got a major upgrade. Over the past couple of months, not much was known about the new site and every time fans entered the url into their web address box, they would just be redirected to a graphic with the company's logo and text that reads "Coming Soon: A Brand New Nelvana.com" with no information of what the site will look like.

Thankfully, Nelvana's fanatics don't have to wait much longer, as the award-winning company today (Cinco De Mayo, Wednesday May 5th) has OFFICIALLY launched it's all new rebranded and updated website layout.

On the top of the homepage is links to the different categories of the website "About" which just gives you a demonstration of the company, "Studio" which gives you a basis of what the team does best, "Distribution" which you can get more detail of the great shows and movies they produced over the years, "Consumer Products" in which you can learn more about the company's merchandise and partnership deals and "Contact" where you can just call or email the Nelvana staff with feedback on their hard work or suggestions on how to make their company better.

What's mostly interesting is the "Show Full Catalog" button on the Distribution page. Clicking on this button will take you to a DHX Media and WildBrain 2015 styled PDF about the series and films the studio has put effort on and what age demographic each of them fits in. In a style similar to the 2015 PDF from the aformentioned companies, the shows described on the PDF are described by what age demograhic they are for, how many seasons each has, how many episodes per season, runtime and what type of media its produced in (either 2D/Flash, 3D CGI, 3D stopmotion, live action or photopuppetry mixed media) with each of the age demographic categories being started off with the company's recent highlights.
