As the doors of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouser are about to reopen in just less than over a months time, the Walt Disney Company has announced its newest slate of upcoming chilxren's programming during this year's panels at the Annecy Animation Film Festivval in Paris, France. Disney launchd its new slate of programming last night kicking off the three-night convention.
First up, Disney has ordered three new animated series, which includes Miraculous: Stellar Forces, the newest installment of the award-winning Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir franchise, new anime series Dragon Strikers from Disney/Jettix EMEA and new Disney Junior preschool series Sam Witch which as judging by the titler is slated to premiere across Disney Junior, DIsney Channel, DIsneyNOW and Disney+ in October 2026.
Next up in the ever-changing wortld of IP reboots, remakes and sequels, Disney has renewed five of its animation powrthousrs for another batch of episodes, starting with MARVEL's SpiderMan and his Amazing Friends being renewed for a whopping sixth season, the first original Disney Junior series to get renewed for a Season 6 and the second to do so followinfg PJ NMasks: Power Heroes, SuperKitties and Chibiverse both renewed for a fourth season and Ariel The Little Mermaid and RoboGobo both renewed for a second season each
In the interstitials field, Disney Junior has ordered two new miniseries, Ariel The Little Mermaid: Songs from the Crystal Caverns and the stop-motion MMCH miniseries Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Songs which will roll out between October and December 2025. Additionally, Mr & Mickey returns with a new format to celebrate the launch of the MMCH reboot with its fourth season titled Me & Mickey at the Clubhouse+. SuperKitties: Supurr Adventures also returns for a second season and Playdate with Winnie the Pooh also gets a two-season renewal.
Finally in the movies and specials field, Disney Junior has greenlit a new Christmas DCOM full-length animated holiday adventure called Dasher which follows the tragic backstory of one of Santa Claus' most important reindeer aside from Rudsolph and his shiny red nose. The new film is slated to premiere over the Fa-La-La Magical Holidays programming season in December 2026.

WE DID IT!!! - Nickelodeon Announces Plans for Dora the Explorer 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee This Summer
In August 2000, Nickelodeon launched its second cash cow never-ending preschool series Dora the Explorer that was loved by many kids and hated by many parents andYouTube content creators, and a children's television legacy was born. Created by Chris Gillford, Valerie Walsh-Valdes and Eric Weiner, this iconic show continues to bring smiles on today's generation of kids.
Now Paramount and Nickelodeon are providing some muy grande plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest children's TV cartoons of our generation with the launch of the new marketing campaign The Great Dora the Explorer Fiesta! which celebrates 25 years and counting of America's favorite Latina cheroine of children's television.
The silver hubilee kicks off on Wednesday, July 2nd with the premiere of the second season of the hit 2024 Paramount+ reboot ¡Dora!: Say Hola to Adventure (Season 10, 26 episodes x 52 11-minutes)) and the cable and streaming silver screen film release of the second Dora the Explorer live-action ripoff movie Dora and the Search for Sol Derado which premieres on Nickelodeon cable simulcast the same day
The new batch of episodes will see Dora's cousin, primo Diego finally get his CGI launch in the new batch of episodes with the first ever Dora reboot hour-long movie Dora & Diego's Rainforest Rescues which chronicles the backstory of how Dora and Diego first met and how Dora's cousin would later go on to front his own series Go Diego Go! which ran from 2005-2011. The new season will also include new celebratory birthday episodes to celebrate Dora's silver anniversary which will premiere on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels on the week of the franchise's birthday of Thursday, August 14th at 11am.
But wait, there's more! The year-long Dora 25 party will also include new soundtrack albums, singles and EPs available on CD and digital download across all streaming music platforms, a major makeover for Noggin/Nick Jr.'s award-winning Beyond the Backpack back to school campaign and the Paramount+ debut of the remaining three hour-long specials from the original series "Dance to the Rescue", "World Adventure" and "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure"
The Dora 25 party is part of Nickelodeon's 2025-2026 content slate which also includes new SpongeBob SquarePants hour-long special "SpongeBob and Patrick's Timeline Twistup/A Fish Named Sandy", five new PAW Patrol hour-long specials and a third theatrical movie, the new era of Peppa Pig where Peppa gives bireth to a third child. the series finale of Blaze and the Monster Machines and new series Wylde Pak, Super Duper Bunny League, Tim rex in Space and HexVet, along with new episodes of hit series including Rubble & Crew, Rock Paper Scissors and Max and the Midknights.

Sesame Street Finds New Home At Netflix As WBD Deal Nears Expiration Date
The long-running PBS Kids powerhouse Sesame Street has finally found themselves a new home with the over 250+-time Emmy winner set to make its broadcasting move to the classic SVOD video streaming website Netflix for its upcoming 56th season. The news comes in as Warner Bros. Discovery (Cartoonito/HBO Max) is about to end its 10-year contract with the PBS powerhouse following the end of its current Season 55 which ends on 9/11 2025.
Sesame Street is due to make its debut on Netflix in November 2025 with the launch of its upcoming 56th season (35 episodes) which will include a more fresher format shakeup for the iconic franchise for a whole new generation of viewers. This season marks the death of the show's magazine format after 56 years on the air. But don't worry, the new episodes will still contain your favorite miniseries including Elmo's World 2017 and Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck.
But wait, there's more! Netflix has also acquired broadcasting rights to over 100 hours of classic Sesame Street episodes from its nearly 5,000 episode catalog of all 55 seasons of the show made so far, including the 200 episodes that were illegally removed from HBO Max's own streaming service back in August 2022 when the first streaming service purges took affect. Netflix is also due to make console videogames and CD-ROM software for both the main show and its hilariously bad Roblox bootleg spinoff series Sesame Street: Mecha Builders which also ends in September 2025.
The show is still owned by PBS though and like the previous Warner Bros. Discovery contract from 2016 will air the episodes on linear television after a nine-month release window gap. The new episodes premiere on Netflix around November 2025 while the two recent seasons of the show, Season 55 (2025) and Season 56 (2025-2026) will premiere on PBS Kids and local PBS stations on cable platforms beginning around September 2025 and June 2026 respectively.

ARE YOU READY TO GET SLIMED!!!!! - Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2025 Set For Ultimate Summer Vacation Kickoff, Premieres Saturday June 21st at 8PM, Voting Now Open!
Paramount and Nickelodeon are getting ready for the biggest bash of the year, the 38th annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2025, this year hosted by Grammy-winning artist Tyla, this year's ceremony is bound to be one of the messiest KCAs yet. The ceremony is set to premiere Saturday, June 21st at 8:00PM (ET/PT)/7:00c and will be filmeed live in the Banger Arena in Los Angeles, CA.
Unlike previous KCA shows, this one will be broadcasted on the first day of the summer solstice and as ever will be broadcasted across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin, The N, Nick@Nite, Nick GAS, TeenNick, Nicktoons and Paramount+ streaming service. In a similar fashion to last year's show, the nominations will not only include the best of 2024, but also the first half of 2025.

Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master Unveil Complete Voice Cast for "PAW Patrol III: The Dino Rescue Movie" Releasing July 31st, 2026
Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master, the three companies responsible for the cash cow franchise phenonmeon of preschool television that is PAW Patrol, have announced the complete voice cast for the upcoming movie PAW Patrol III: The Dino Rescue Movie, the theatrical ripoff of the show's 2020 Dino Rescue story arc that is set to hit theaters and streaming service Paramount+ on July 31, 2026.
McKenna Grace returns as the voice of Skye from the record breaking second entry, 2023's PAW Patrol II: The Mighty Pups Movie along with famed movie star Jennifer Hudson. Marsai Martin also returns as the voice of roast god Liberty, but the remainder of the cast hasn't been fully unveiled yet for the pups' next silver screen adventure until now.
Other famous names joining the new Nick Flick include Terry Crews (NBC's Simon Cowell's America's Got Talent), Disney Legend Bill Nye the Science Guy, 2000s reality cringe Paris Hilton and famous rapper Snoop Dogg, known for meme song classics such as "The Next Episode (Smoke Weed Every Day)" and "Drop It Like It's Hot"
New recruits to the PAW Patrol team also include the main cast of Henry Bolan as the team's stupid leader Ryder, Rain Janjua as Chse, Carter Young as Marshall, Lucien Duncan-Reid as Rubble, William Denros as Rocky, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma, Ron Pardo as the stupid antagonist psychopath Mayor Humdinger and Hayden Chamberlen who will voice the Dino Rescue member Rex.
The voice cast of the third film is completed with the help of Fortune Feinster, Jameala Jamai and Meredith MacNeili as the final three actors for the film. The remainder of the voice cast will be unveiled at one of Spin Master's press conferences later this month.
The new film marks Bill Nye's first contribution to the Nickelodeon networks in 25 years since the Noggin channel lost broadcast rights to the Bill Nye the Science Guy TV series in April 2002 when Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop turned the channel into the current preschool version.

Hit Entertainment and Mattel Upload Rejected April 1983 Thomas Pilot To Celebrate Thomas & Friends' 80th Anniversary
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the number one blue engine Thomas & Friends, one of the leading forces in the Hit Entertainment catalog from toy company Mattel. And to celebrate, the two iconic studios and Canadian partners Nelvana have given fans the worldwide public release of the original test pilot to the classic golden era of the show using live-action models from 1984-2009.
The pilot episode produced in April 1983 at Clearwater Films produced by the late creators Britt Allcroft and David Mittion who first made the show for CITV, Channel 5's Mil;kshake!, PBS Kids, Nickelodeon and streaming service Netflix back in October 1984, is a prototype version of the first season's penultimate episode "Down The Mine" (Season 1, Episode 25) based on one of the stories from the first 26 books in the Railway Series written by Reverend Wilbert Awdry between 1945-2011.
The recently discovered pilot unveils the early voice recordings of the original narrator, The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr who was being interviewed on BBC and ITV's Michael Parkinson talk show at the time as well as a newly reorchestrated soundtrack from the original composers Michael O'Donnell and Junior Campbell who worked on the classic era of the TV show in the first 20 years.
The pilot episode uploaded on Thomas &.Friends' official YouTube account ends with a newly reorchestrated version of the classic theme song from the first seven seasons, ending with a bittersweet dedication to the original TV show creator Britt Allcroft who passed away on December 25, 2024.
Eight decades on with 28 seasons and 731 episodes and movies later, Thomas still continues to be really useful engines to millions of kids and parents across the world. And it was the iconic books told to a young 1943 boy who was sick with measles that began it all.

Nickelodeon Renews Rock Paper Scissors For Season 2 Ahead of Paramount+ Launch
Nickelodeon and Paramount are at it again with their latest original Nicktoons creation, Rock Paper Scissors. The newest hit Nickelodeon series has been renewed for a second season of 20 episodes, ahead of the series' official SVOD launch on Paramount+ on Friday, May 28th.
The hit series was first leaked on Nickelodeon's YouTube channels in August 2023 before making its official cable television premiere on the network in February 2024. The series itself made as part of Nickelodeon's recent Oh Yeah Cartoons!: International Shorts Program campaign follows the adventures of three characters named after some stupid playground game made up by teenagers as they go on their misadventures throughout their lifestyle.
Nickelodeon has stupidly divided the second season of the show into two smaller seasons of 10 episodes each which they have continued to be stupid and lazy with their episode counts since screwing up the SpongeBob and Patrick Star Show renewals last year in mid-2024.

RE-Senior Year - Disney Channel To Bow "ZOMBIES IV: The Dawn of the Vampires" on Thursday, July 10th at 8/7c, Stream Next Day on Disney+
The wait is finally over, Disney Channel's latest DCOM sequel IS FINALLY HERE!!!! Disney's live-action TV unit, Disney Branded Television have yesterday released the official teaser trailer for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) release ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires which is slated for release this summer on Thursday, July 10th at 8:00PM (ET/PT)/7c and will be available for streaming next day (Friday, July 11th) on Disney+ SVOD.
The new film picks up where the hit Disney Channel animated series Zombies: The Reanimated Series left off with Zed, Zola and the rest of their crew continuing to have their do-over of their 12th grade senior year and graduatiuon diplomas ceremony. But unbeknownst to them, there is a new threat that comes to the universe of this DCOM classic, the dawn of an evil angry mob of vampires who threaten to take over the entire town and kill all the zombies and other mythical monsters in sight.
The new film reunites Meg Donnelly, RuPaul Charles and the rest of the gang for the fourth installment of this award winning Disney Channel original movie franchise. Following the film's release, the second season of the animated series of a further 20 episodes is slated for release around late August 2025.
The new film comes as part of Disney Channel's Descendants 10th Anniversary celebration which includes a crossover live concert with the Zombies franchise kicking off in June 2025 and the anniversary wraps up with the record-breaking Descendants 5 due for release next year.

HOT DOG! - Disney Junior Celebrates Return of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse With New Disneyland Concert, To Bow Friday May 16th
Disney's second greatest preschool TV series franchise of all time, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is finally coming back to screens after ten years off and to celebrate, Disney is putting together a whole new experience for millennial fans and their newborns to discover together.
The Walt Disney Company's TV label Walt Disney Television Animation and its theme park unit Walt Disney Imagineering have announced the development of a new touring concert production entitled Disney Jr's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse LIVE! which is set to open exclusively at Disneyland's Disney California Adventures area this summer on Friday, May 16th. This new live on stage experience is put together to celebrate the show's upcoming reboot, due for release this August, along with new MARVEL preschool series knockoff, Iron Man and his AWESOME Friends.
The new production replaces the recently closed Disney Junior Dance Party tour which was the first replacement for the Disney theme parks' classic Playhouse Disney/DIsney Junior Live on Stage attraction when it shut down in September 2018. The aforementioned attraction closed down last month due to it having less attendees and most of the shows featured in the concert being cancelled and making the attraction completely outdated, with the exception of Doc McStuffins which recently got a stop-motion miniseries, Sofia the First which is slated to return with a new sequel series called Sofia's Royal Magic releasing in January 2026 and Vampirina which is slated to be rebooted with a live-action sitcom ripoff produced by none other than It's A Laugh Productions set for release in October as part of the network's MONStober/Boo for You! Halloween tentpole events.
The new MMCH Live is part of Disney's marketing campaign for its newest slate of preschool programming. The promotion for the upcoming reboot began kicking in full swing earlier this year with the launch of the MMCH exhibit at the Indiana Children's Museum in February and will continue to be expanded nationwide until the end of the decade in the 2029-2030 programming season.

The new batch of episodes which continues the adventures of Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher taking a 24/7 summer vacation of 104 days where they don't have to go to school at all whatsoever, their stupid sister Candace Flynn trying to bust their brothers and get them grounded but almost never actually doing it and the insane evil of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and his crazy -inators that cause the boys' inventions to get demolished at the end of every episode before their mom can see them because Doof's plots to rule the Tri-State Area are always defeated by Agent P, Pery the Platypus.

Crazy Rich Animes - Nickelodeon Orders New Korean Nicktoon "Wylde Pak" To Premiere Summer 2025
Paramount and Nickelodeon continue to bring out the Friday Night Hits with the greenlight of their newest 2D animated series, Wylde Pak (Season 1, 26 episodes). The new series focouses on the crime-solving misadventures of a group of American 9-year-olds living in Seoul, South Korea. The new series is part of Nickelodeon's Intergalatic Shorts Program where they have been illegally leaking their own series on their YouTube channels before their official television releases in order to find the next big NickHits.
The series is slated to premiere in the summer vacation window of 2025, along with two other upcoming Nick series, Nicktoon Avatar the Final Airbender: Seven Hayens and Nick Jr.'s US/UK hybird with Channel 5's Milkshake, Tim Rex in Space. PAW Patrol and Rubble & Crew Renewed For Two More Seasons Each at Nickelodeon, Rubble & Crew Season 3 To Premiere March 19th
Nickelodeon and Paramount's third biggest cash cow franchise is at it again as America's favorite team of stupid community service rescue talking dogs is once again put into pursuit for another couple of years.
Paramount, Nickelodeon and Spin Master have renewed its powerhouse series PAW Patrol and its spinoff sequel series Rubble & Crew for another four-season order of 104 episodes. PAW Patrol has been renewed for Seasons 12 and 13, whereas Rubble & Crew has been renewed for SEasons 3 and 4. Each of the new seasons will consist of a further 26 half-hour episodes which will continue the adventures of Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye and the rest of the pup pack in Adventure Bay.
To celebrate the third season of the latter program, Rubble & Crew's second season will conclude with a special crossover half-hour special featuring Rocky the recycling dog visiting Rubble's newly breeded family in their hometown of Builder Cove. Season 3 is slated to premiere on Wednesday, March 19th at 11:00am with "The Crew Builds a Vet Clinic".
Over the last year, Nickelodeon has been stupid with their episode counts by splitting their 26 episode orders into two 13-episode seasons for no reason at all whatsoever (A TV SHOW HAS 26 EPISODES, you stupid Paramount execs. It's not hard!). The other eight programs to recently follow this similar fate included the series finales of iCarly, Victorious and Blaze and the Monster Machines (unless renewal petition states otherwise), new episodes of Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Patrick Star Show and The Loud House and upcoming preschool series SUperhero Duper Bunny League slated for Easter release on Saturday, April 19th.
Disney Execs Abandoned Ship - Disney+ Scraps "The Princess and the Frog" TV Series Ripoff, Vows To NEVER Make Disney+ Half-Hour Animated Content Ever Again
Disney has once again took way too long to premiere one of their own programs and Disney fans can now rest easy knowing that one of Disney's biggest mistakes of Disney show ideas has finally been rejected. Disney's 2D-animated The Princess and the Frog TV series ripoff Tiana has finally been rejected and cancelled. The news comes as Disney vows to never make a half-hour animated TV show for their streaming service ever again as Walt Disney Animation Studios is moving out of the SVOD catalog.
The news comes as not surprising as recently Disney has been rejecting TV show knockoffs and turning them into more effortable theatrical feature films, with the Disney+ series based on their 2016 hit film Moana starring WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson being scrapped and turned into a sequel movie Moana 2 instead, raking in $1 billion dollars in the bbox office worldwide.
The news comes as Disney has recently opened its newest Walt Disney Animation Studios complex in the great white norths of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where most of today's hottest Disney and Nickelodeon preschool programs are being produced.
Alongside Disney's own animation department kicking the bucket, Disney's subsidiary companies and brands Pixar Animation Studios and Marvel Comics have also followed suit to cancel all future plans for Disney+ animated programming, leaving Walt Disney Television Animation given full creative control over the entire Disney+ and Disney Channel catalogs.

Nick Jr. Celebrates 30 Years Of Discography With New Compilation Album "Nick Jr.'s Friendship Songs!"
In 1996, Nickelodeon released its first two soundtrack albums of music from their award-winning preschool teelvision programs, Allegra's Window Shake Your Doodles: Allegra's Favorite Songs and Gullah Gullah Island Jump Up and Sing: Binya Binyah's Favorite Songs. Now almost three decades later and Nickelodeon is still cranking out the hits in the jukebox ever since.
To celebrate this milestone, Nickelodeon has last week released Nick Jr.'s Friendship Songs!, a compilation albunm celebrating the best highlights of Nickelodeon's most iconic tracks from its preschool television department. The new album contains 31 tracks which includes some of the highlights from Nickelodeon's six-year contract with Universal and Republic Records.

Disney DETHROWNS Nickelodeon and Cocomelon with Marvel Preschool Show Ripoff Icons, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends Renewed For Season 5
After losing their highest-grossing animated movie of all time streak of 15 years to the racist Chnese anime project Ne Zha 2, the mouse house of Disney has gotten revenge by springing its next Mouse Trap on some of the preschool television market's greatest properrties.
In 2024, Disney dethrowned Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol and the highest-grossing YouTube channel Cocomelon Cringe which has approx 200 million subscribers and 200 billion views, with its iconic and award-winning Disney Junior preschool ripoff series Marvel's Spiderman and his Amazing Friends reigning supreme as one of the most-watched preschool programs of the year. To celebrate this milestone, Disney has renewed the iconic program for Season 5 (29-30 episodes) ahead of its season four premiere due to be released this summer vacation season.
The new season continues the adventures of Spiderman, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and other popular Marvel and DC Comics and Stan Lee veterans as they continue their quest with Team Spidey to save the comic book world and fighting off against some of the craziest superheroes of all time. With a punk rock soundtrack performed by Fallout Boys and score composed by the band's frontman Patrick Stump, this award-winning series still shows no signs of slowing down as they reach closer to their 100th episode milestone. The new season of Spiderman and his Amazing Friends will pick up where the series' current story arc Dino-Webs left off at the end of season three and will feature a new Water-Webs arc that will see the dawn of television in the upcoming two-season order of 60 episodes.
But wait, there's more! To celebrate the death of the stupidest Disney Channel/Marvel cartoon of all time, the racist Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (with its final episodes slated to air next week on Saturday, March 8th at 10:30AM ET/9:30c), Disney-ABC Branded Television CEO Avo Davies has announced that more MARVEL preschool series bootlegs could be on the way. The first example of this being the upcoming IRON MAN and his AWESOME Friends, which is slated to premiere alongside Spidey Season 4 and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ 2.0 reboot coming this summer.

Nickelodeon, Paramount and Spin Master have announced the official title, synopsis and logo reveal for the upcoming sequel PAW Patrol III: The Dino Rescue Movie which is slated for theatrical release on July 31, 2026 with a streaming service and cable television premiere slated for November 2026 and July 2027 respectively. The new film is the latest installment in the 2026 Year of the Sequels.
Picking up where the 2023 second film The Mighty Pups Movie and its Broadway musical ripoff PAW Patrol Live IV: A Mighty Adventure left off, the PAW Patrol dogs were cruising along on their Airship and making billions of dollars in capitalism midning their own business when all of a sudden their vehicle runs out of batteries and crashlands into a tropical prehistoric paradise which sees the silver screen debut of Rex from the Dino Rescue story arc. Stupid Humdinger tries to break out of jail YET AGAIN and commits his next illegal crime by attempting to blow up the island and murder all the dinosaurs in the process. It's up to Rex and Skye to set aside their differences and fight for what's right to save the prehistoric pad before it's too late and the franchise is killed to meteor extinction.
Like with the previous film, the sequel once again has some terrible false advetising plot details as they already met Rex for the first time in the aforementioned Dino Rescue storyline released at the beginning of the 2020s decade and it seems like as if Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye are just committing fake amnesia and having an identity crisis just to get more viewers in and to get more merch sales.

Kim Kardashian, Kristen Bell, Jimmy Kimmell, Chris Rock, Will Smith, Luxton Handspiker, Iain Armitage and Finn-Lee Eppe are also set to return.

The new PAW Patrol III film joins a whole host of children's movie continuation projects in the 2026 Year of the Sequels campaign, which also includes Disney's Toy Story 5, 20th Century Fox Studios' Ice Age 7, Universal and Illumination's Despicable Me Cringe: Minions III, Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. 2, Paramount's untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem sequel and the highly-anticipated welcome return of DreamWorks' Shrek 5 rounding off the year in December.
Peppa Pig's Mom Is Pregnant In New Chapter of Award-Winning Nickelodeon Franchise
Following the death of Peppa Pig's grandpa David Graham last year, a new member of the family awaits in the newest installments of one of the world's greatest preschool programs. Nickelodeon, Channel 5 and Hasbro's Peppa Pig has announced that finally afyter 20 years of lazy characters and having the stupidity of repeating storylines from earlier episodes such as Madame Gazelle having to pay her own money to fix the school roof from leaking YET AGAIN, Peppa and her family are FINALLY getting a third child.

ROTTEN TO THE CORE - Disney Channel Orders Descendants 5: Deeper Down The Rabbit Hole, To Premiere Summer 2026
One of the most beloved Disney Channel Original Movie franchses of all time is back again for another magical adventure that will bring shivers down your spine. Disney Channel today has announced the greenlight of Descendants 5: Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole (working title) set to premiere on Disney Channel linear cable and Disney+ streaming service in Summer 2026.
The new entry picks up where last year's hit DCOM Descendants 4: The Rise of Red left off as we follow the continuing misadventures and trauma of Kylie Carroll and Malia Baker as the worlds of Disney's classic Disney Princess franchise films Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella collide as they once again get hypnotized into another wormhole of time-travelling through the Disney Vault archives and discovering the self-esteem of what it's truly like to be Red and Chloe and other Disney kid siblings knockoffs.
The new entry in the Descendants franchise will mark a 30-year history for Disney Channel's DCOMs department as Descendants will break the record as the first DCOM ever to get five entries, with the record previously been broken by '90s classic Halloweentown and 2020s hit Zombies, both clocking in close behind at four entries each, with Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, the next DCOM on the channel's hitlist set for release later this fall as part of the annual MONStober Halloween season.
The new film comes as part of Disney's 10th anniversary celebration of the hit DCOM franchise created by Kenny Ortega, the director of the 2006 record-breakiing DCOM franchise High School Musical, which has recently spawned a hit preschool series ripoff Kindergarten School Musical on Disney Junior which airs weekdays at 8am and 11am ET/PT with five episodes left in its first season to go. Disney Channel will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise with a special crossover concert tour Descendants/Zombies: When Worlds Collide which is set to hit auditoriums later this summer

Hop Hop Hop Like The Bunny Do It - Nick Jr To Bow Superhero Duper Bunny League This Easter Weekend; Premieres Saturday April 19th, To Leak Early On YouTube February 22nd
This Easter season, praise the lord for the all new series coming to Nick Jr.! The all-new children's book adaptation, Superhero Duper Bunny League (Season 1, 26 episodes) is slated to premiere across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin, Paramount+, Pluto TV and SkyShowtime this Easter weekend with the first episode releasing on Holy Saturday, April 19th at 9:30AM ET/8:30c with the entire series also slated to release on Paramount+ simulcasting the same date.
To make sure this series is a bonified smash hit and doesn't get cancelled too early like Nickelodeon has stupidly been doing since the deaths of Wallykazam and Dora & Friends: Into the City! in 2017, the series will also be leaked early on Nick Jr.'s official YouTube channel beginning this Saturday, February 22nd. This will be the fifth Nickelodeon series to be leaked early on YouTube before its linear and streaming television premiere and the second Noggin/Nick Jr. property to do so.
Superhero Duper Bunny League is based on the awartd-winning greaphic novels series. The anime adaptation is set from the creators of The Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies, Butterbean's Cafe and The Tiny Chef Show, Johnny Belt and Robert Scull, with many of the Bubble Guppies team also taking part in the series' production since Molly, Gil & Zooli's adventures got drowned in June 2023 which led into Johnny and Robert beginning work on this production and wrapping up Tiny Chef's third season.

Chase and Skye Goes Undercover Pranks - Nick Jr to Launch New PAW Patrol Podcast Series "I Spy A Rescue" on February 11th
America's favorite stupid community service talking rescue dogs are at it again with the latest installments in the award-winning Nick Jr. Podcasts collection! Nickelodeon is slated to premiere the new PAW Patrol podcast series PAW Patrol: Eye-Spy A Rescue (Season 1, 15 episodes) on Tuesday, February 11th.
The new series follows the continuing saga of Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye and the rest of the PAW Patrol team as they go on more unneccessarry rescue missions in their HQ of Adventure Bay which these so called rescue missions don't have anything to do with community service at all and instead are focused on the different challenges young kids face in their everyday lives.
PAW Patrol: Eye-Spy A Rescue is the eighth installment of Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. Podcasts series, with other collections in the lineup including Noggin's Meet The Alphabeats starring The Pop Ups, Dora the Explorer titles Dora's Recipes for Adventure and Dora's Amazing Adventuras, Blue's Clues & You! entries Storytime with Josh & Blue and Let's Guess Who with Josh & Blue and Nick Jr. crossover titles Nick Jr. Goodnight Bedtime Stories and Nick Jr. Wheel of Games launched in November 2024.

Magical Mermaid Adventures - Nick Jr's Bubble Guppies Return In New AI-Generated Miniseries "Bubble Guppies: Super Princess Mermaids" Premiering February 7th

Nickelodeon and Jam Filled Entertainment Toronto have announced that Bubble Guppies, the hit 2011 Nick Jr cartoon created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull and the final Nickelodeon project to be developed by Nick Jr's late Executive in Charge of Production, Janice Burgess who passed away in March 2024, will be returning for a whole new generation in the new miniseries Bubble Guppies: Super Princess Mermaids, which is set to premiere on the series' official YouTube channel on Friday, February 7th. New episodes will drop constantly on Friday mornings at 11:25am ET/10:25c.
The new series follows the adventures of three of the four female guppies, Molly (Brianna Gentielle), Deema (Catherine Bradley) and Zooli (Leah Jaevier) as they transform into mermaids in the show's fictional Kentucky hometown of Bubbletucky where this time, they voyage on mermaid adventures and give a more in-depth look of marine biology and life beneath the waves. But if you though that Molly, Gil and Zooli ripping off The Backyardigans in their final four years was bad enough, this miniseries sees them plotting copyright infringement on Disney's The Little Mermaid franchise.
The first two episodes drop on Friday, February 7th in which Molly, Deema and Zooli help a little dolphin find their way home to their local family. The premiere episode also includes an updated Jack Moss-esque version of the hit song "Hey Dolphin" featured in the season 3 episode "A DOLPHIN is a Guppy's Best Friendd!" released back in 2015. It's currently unknown on whether like the recent Backyardigans overhaul, this new series of YouTube Kids shorts will also see tracks from the Bubble Guppies catalog being rippoed off as the instrumentation of today's hottest pop-culture memes.
As you'd expect, the series' original creators are not involved with this project since the final episode of the series "See You Later, Alligators!" aired two years ago and they are currently working on The Tiny Chef Show and the upcoming Super Duperhero Bunnyleague set for release across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Noggin and Paramount+ platforms nationwide and worldwide this Easter. Unfortunately for long-running kids show fans, Blaze and the Monster Machines is set to end on Nick Jr. after 12 years on the air and 183 episodes with the series finale set to air sometime in laste/early 2026. One of the two series' creators Jeff Borkin and Nick bosses David Elisen and Brian Robbins have confirmed that Season 9 will be the final victory lap around Axle City since there was originally plans to extend the series to end it at ten seasons with another further 23-episode order bringing the total to 206 episodes, but sadly for whatever reason, Nickelodeon and DHX Media/WildBrain accidentally rejected that extra order of episodes at the last minute over summer vation in June 2024.

Unfortunately for long-running kids show fans, Blaze and the Monster Machines is set to end on Nick Jr. after 12 years on the air and 183 episodes with the series finale set to air sometime in laste/early 2026. One of the two series' creators Jeff Borkin and Nick bosses David Elisen and Brian Robbins have confirmed that Season 9 will be the final victory lap around Axle City since there was originally plans to extend the series to end it at ten seasons with another further 23-episode order bringing the total to 206 episodes, but sadly for whatever reason, Nickelodeon and DHX Media/WildBrain accidentally rejected that extra order of episodes at the last minute over summer vation in June 2024.
